  1. Don't include cabin/cruise info on FB. Wait till he responds to send the info directly to him.
  2. I didn't say they were, hence "hopefully"
  3. I'm going to try a case of Rockstar. 10 cans per case, but they are 16 Oz. Hopefully they will let it thru. Didn't have problem on RCL.
  4. Make it private so only he can see it.
  5. I wouldnt want to store soda in a car for a week in the summer. Could get messy.
  6. I play games and download books. Worth the price to me.
  7. I haven't been there, but I think this falls in line with other ports I've been to. Grand Cayman required sail pass to get back into cruise port, so that seems similar.
  8. True, and if they don't allow you to sit where you want, you might end up the last to get off the thing.
  9. But you can do a video call instead? Seems like they didn't think things thru.
  10. Oh wow! I didn't know about PVP. Based on another thread on CC, I need to do that going forward. Booking it myself was very frustrating because I wanted to select my own cabin and it kept defaulting to them assigning.
  11. Just downloaded hub app and it said "come back here to checkin.." Can you check in in the app? If so, which is better, app or webpage?
  12. I use my real name but not my real birthdate. I also rarely post there, and never anything that can identify if I'm leaving town.
  13. I worked for an IP provider for many years. It is possible that the IP has been reassigned, but the detailed logs should reveal the MAC address the IP was assigned to. The question is how fast the logs are overwritten, but the speed with which she escalated the situation likely means that those logs have already been pulled in anticipation of a possible investigation by the AG. Second scenario is posible, but not likely. In that case, yes, a vindictive neighbor could do it, but then it again comes back to if the customer has the equipment used (MAC) that cancelled the reservation. The more likely scenario is that someone used a public access point, then they will never figure it out.
  14. So are ginger pills more potent than fresh ginger? I love fresh ginger and it's easy to pack.
  15. Def. Better to buy ahead of time, prices in gift shop are outrageous
  16. Someone posted that if you have the wifi plan, you can a lot of time watch the video in hub app while waiting in embarkation hall.
  17. CC does have a VOLUNTARY profile that includes birthrate, location and zip code. I'm sure there are folks out there who use their real name and fill out the form completely. Facebook requiring real name and birthrdate is extremely dangerous.
  18. If the thiefs can figure out my real name and address from my posts, I deserve to be robbed.
  19. Carnival's system should be logging information about what IP address cancelled the reservation. (This can easily be traced right back to the user) Wouldn't shock me to see her indicted for attempted fraud.
  20. 2 factor Auth would be expensive to implement and cause a lot more calls to customer service, but I agree, something that would be good. I don't believe she didn't receive a cancelation email, I recieve emails every time I make a transaction with carnival.
  21. For all Carnival knows, they cancelled it themselves and tried to scam the system claiming it was someone else. I can't fault Carnival for following policies the customer agreed to, but they certainly tried to make it right.
  22. Not worth missing the boat. Plan to get there early and go out to eat if too early.
  23. That's my plan as well, although I have a massage schedule at 1:30, so might make more sense to drop bags, muster then lunch.
  24. Too bad, at the end of the day when I'm tired, hot and hungry is when it would be most needed
