  1. What is refunded to the credit card on file? the shore excursion or the wine package discount?? I have never had that happen,  it  has always gone back on my shipboard account .

    I had used the gift cards originally to pay for a cruise that we had to cancel and they did not refund my credit card but they gave me back the gift card numbers and passwords.

  2. I used some of my gift cards to purchase some shore excursions,. If, after we are on the ships the ship cancels a port or shore excursion, or if we just decide to cancel an excursion, do they  refund the money to my shipboard account like normal, or do they refund to a gift card and I have to wait until I get the information from the gift card company??

    Next question.  I used a gift card to purchase some of the wine packages. When we get onboard, normally they just credit our shipboard account with the half price discount that as 5 star mariners we receive. In this case, will they do that, or again, will it go to a gift card and we  have to wait until I hear form the gift card company to get the new numbers and passwords??

    I just realized they might not give us shipboard credit.. 

    Any thoughts or answers greatly appreciated.

  3. We are booked on the Allure out of Galveston in January and i can 'see' the show time schedules and make a reservation but there are not many options available- mainly 8 and 10 PM.  (We were on the Allure in August and I seem to remember shows available in the afternoon and also at 5PM).

    Is this because all the earlier show times are already reserved or are they truly not available earlier? My son and his wife will have a Royal Genie and we are also in a suite and are Diamond. Are some time slots held back for suite guests and  or diamond members? Thanks for any insight.

  4. We were on the Noordam in the spring and there was a promotion offered by HAL to buy HAL gift cards and get a 10% additional gift card. The maximum you could buy at a time was an amount of 2000.00 but you could buy as many as you wanted. I bought a bunch because we were holding a HAL cruise in January of 23 that i knew i could use them on. Well, for many reasons we had to cancel the January HAL cruise today before penalties. . MY TA informed me that the money from the gift cards will not be automatically returned to me, I assumed it would stay somehow associated with my Mariner number but not really cash returned . She further told me i needed a phone number to call the 'gift card' company and it would have been on my original  emails. She said no one at HAL would know how to contact the gift card company. Well as meticulous as i am, 🙂 after i applied the gift cards to my a sailing, i cannot seem to find  a phone number anywhere. 

    Hoping someone on here maybe has the info on how to contact this gift card company???

    Please any info greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance
