Explorer has several Southern Caribbean itineraries late this year and early next year out of Port Canaveral. Vision has some late 2015 and early 2016 out of Tampa.
If you are looking tonight, remember that Royal does website maintenance on Saturday evening, so that may mess up searches.
You guys are amazing. Thank you so much! I really thought I was out of luck!

Check Legend of the Seas for 2015. I booked Serenade of the Seas 11 night for Jan 2016. It goes to Aruba, Bonaire, Grenada, Barbados, St. Lucia, and Antigua.
Oooo, thank you!
I also heard that some cruises (could be a totally different locale) talk about seeing a volcano erupt? Is that in this location or am I thinking of something else? Maybe that is Hawaii. Someone once wrote about a "drive-by" of it or something....the ship didn't actually stop or anything.
-
Does Royal not have a longer southern Caribbean route anymore from Florida? I can't find anything on the website. There used to be a 9 and/or an 11 night cruise.
I was wondering if I was missing something or those cruises are just gone.
-
i agree. lol its drama in here . dress code, tipping, lounge chairs. geez just enjoy people , thats what its all about, dont sweat the small stuff.
I haven't been on the boards for maybe a year? I was surprised to see these type of topics are still heating everyone up. I mean, no one is going to convince anyone else of their opinion and we all know it. Bah. I'm done.

It really amazes me how everyone still gets caught up in these threads. Just answer the OP's question and move on. Does everything have to turn into a fight or a mocking scenario?
-
I went a few years back at the very end of May. We did not get remotely close to Hubbard. We could see it, but it was a great distance away and we did not stay. In and out.
-
Just called RCI and once again the offer doesn't apply to us in the UK. We get a rough deal over here:-(
You guys seem to get royally screwed on everything.
-
It'll never happen. Some of those internet packages are sooo expensive and lots of people buy them because they can't bear to go a few days without being plugged in. It's too much of a money-maker.
-
I thought I responded already, but I don't see it anywhere....
I forgot my bathing suit once :(
It was an Alaskan cruise, but it would have been nice to have had the option to swim as it would have been warm enough when we left, plus the ship had a solarium.

See my post above.
We posted within a minute of each other.

If one adult in a cabin buys the soft drink package the others must as well.
Um, no they don't. That's only for the alcoholic packages.
-
I believe there is something built into the machine that only allows you to refill once every 10 minutes.
I've heard other people report it's 15 minutes, but on my last cruise, there was NO time limit. I filled up twice before these times when I was super thirsty (and no, that's not code for me sharing...I actually was parched!)

Coming back out and south after visiting Hubbard Glacier, we had 20-25 ft seas on Serenade. Honestly, when you looked out, it didn't look like much, but boy we sure felt it.
We could hear peoples balcony furniture turning over. We went up to the Sea View Cafe, but didn't stay long, LOL.
I really wanted to experience that, but once is enough!

I've never heard of this 48 hour thing....

As I understood the OP is doing the prepay tips. Are we talking about a different OP?
No, I was just trying to tell the OP of another option is all. Sorry for the confusion.
-
Prepay tips are not on your bill. You pay them when you make your final payment before the cruise. So how does removing them work? Are you sure you are not confusing the automatic gratuities with the prepaid?
I said, if you don't do prepay and they are automatically added to your seapass, you can get them removed.
-
Hi there!
Though we had pre-paid via MTD option on our recent Rhapsody cruise, we still received envelopes in our cabin on the second-last day so put a little extra cash in each and handed them out on the last night!
It seems they want it BOTH ways!
Gae
If they were plain envelopes, I don't think it's really a big deal. But you know what we received? A solitary envelope with our stateroom attendant's information on it. THAT is being pushy...in my opinion.
-
With the new policy in place, do they still leave envelopes in your cabin on the last night?
No, they don't. The only envelope we got was from our cabin attendant with her name on it (even though we'd prepaid...).
The television said you can get them at Guest Services.
-
Just another note to you...your tips for my time dining also include your room attendant as well. The new policy of 12 per day per person, as i read my email from rccl states that any adjustment would require seeing guest services. While I am under the impression they would investigate why you would wish to change the amount, it was unclear if they could be removed totally. I understand where you are coming from with charges for a baby and small children but just check with guest services when you board.
I hope you are able to enjoy your cruise.
We just returned from the Adventure two weeks ago. Monday Morning first thing, my friends and I walked straight to customer service and had our pre-paid gratuities removed. No questions were asked. Customer Service gladly removed everything. At the end of the cruise we handed our dining staff and cabin steward their tips. Our waiter and cabin steward both told us, tips hand directly they get to keep. Automatic gratuities are put in a pool for everyone to share.Angela
OP, this is true. Just go to the Guest Relations/Services desk and ask to have them removed. The people I saw that did this were not asked WHY they wanted them removed.
-
If you don't do MTD, you can for sure go to Guest Services and have the whole thing taken off your account. Saw it happen for a group of people on Majesty a few weeks ago. They were hootin' and hollerin' about the charge. They had it removed.
If you want to tweak the amounts, go to the desk the night before the end of the cruise and tell them you want the charge removed from your card and would like envelopes. Pay in cash and then be done with it.
-
Yeah, that's how it works.
-
I don't own, or have access to a color printer, so my printed tags have been in black and white. I've been on at least five cruises with b&w tags with no problem.
Same here. Plus, if you get luggage tags from the porters instead, they are in black and white.
-
Kinda sorta yes, but... currently the alcohol packages are only being rolled out on 7-night and longer cruises, and it's doubtful whether you will ever see them on Majesty.:(
Actually, no, they alcohol packages are available on ANY cruise 4 nights and longer. That includes Majesty.

I bought one of the cakes from Gifts and Gear and they wrote happy birthday on it with my name. The chocolate one. It was good, but we did not finish it.
It was only $10 when I got it, but I think it's up to $20 or something now.

I can't pull up the 2015/2016 Vision cruises. Any suggestions?
