I will say this:  we have a family member who trains service dogs for people with medical conditions.  These animals are extremely well trained and it is an investment in time and money.  The price is $12,000+.  Not including vet bills during the training period. Most are purchased through fund raisers, charities, payment plans, etc.  These dogs are not pets when the training harness is put on....and the owners carry bags dispose of the poo if not using a litter box...yes, you can litter train a dog.  I do not doubt that some people need emotional support animals but they do not belong on a cruise ship or airplanes, etc.  Too much risk for what are all talking about here.

My DH and I love Grandeur!  I also agree that it has a fabulous crew!  I have been on Navigator but that was before the recent refurbish.  It just depends on what you are looking for.  We like the coziness of Grandeur but we don't  need all the bells and whistles of the bigger ships.  The shows in the theater were wonderful.
