Sorry for the misunderstanding. We are visiting family in Huntsville. Sharon has over 30 family members in Huntsville. We will spend 2 nights at her Mom and sister's house. Our usual cruise couple friends are cruising with us but due to work they will be taking a different flight. Even without taking kids with us I bet this "kid" will love it! 😆

I am pretty sure that I got the idea on this thread. The handheld luggage weigher is so nice. We are packed and on the road. We are taking the trip to Miami in steps so hopefully I conserve enough energy. We plan to be in Huntsville Al tonight, spend a day Thursday with family and then drive to Nashville for a direct flight Friday evening. If all goes well all should be good to go Saturday morning. I am sure my energy will surge as we meet up with @FromSea2ShiningSea H & M, start exploring the ship, and see the others we all know. Exciting!

When people lately heard I am cruising again they ask, where are you going? I had to think about it. I told them it's more about the ship. We have been to St Thomas and Cococay enough that we plan to stay on the ship. St. Kitts has been on our itinerary before but got canceled so we plan to get off there.

Wow crazy. I can't imagine eating 32 oz of meat.

I have not heard what time tonight. I am surprised it hasn't yet. My pics from last Saturday showed it was to sail at 6pm and I have pics of it headed out at 18:30 or 6:30pm. makes me wonder when we head out Saturday.

You still have a chance to see the Icon and Ken cruising out of Port Miami.

That would be nice not having to wait until 1pm.

What does your sister think 🤔 of the Icon so far? See if you can find a good sail away spot. One where we can easily get some Peach Daiquiri. 😆

Thanks for posting. I have always loved slides. Since my mobility has changed the odds of enjoying the slides has really dropped. It looks like the raft slides may work.

I missed it. I didn't know it was happening. I did notice they waited until it got dark before they left.

Was that an area you visited often on Wonder? What type suite did you enjoy on Wonder8? Was it nicer than other suite areas you enjoyed on other cruises? What is the dining option on the suite deck like on the Wonder? Is The Grove a lot nicer on Wonder?

@topanga49er Thanks for posting the videos.. I have never cruised Wonder so I can not compare. I have done suites on Symphony and Harmony and I have to say the Icon Suite areas looks sooo much larger and nicer! I know people in Suites don't spend a lot of time in just the Suite area but it looks like they will love it when they do.

Not sure when it takes off but I noticed Icon on the Port Miami webcam.

DW was just showing me pics posted on FB of today's WJ for those on the 1st 3 days out. Filet mignon, lobster 🦞, clams, etc. I bet on the 2nd 3 day @Ourusualbeach will post pics of it to get us excited. Let's hope it carries on when we all get on!

The Promenade is something I am looking forward to seeing. Based on the videos the Promenade looks wider than Oasis class ships. With this being an Inaugural cruise the Windjammer will be one of the first places we will head. I hear Inaugural cruises usually serves up great seafood on the 1st day in the WJ. I hope it happens this time!
