I hope you have a safe trip to Florida. Your post reminded me of when we moved here. We had moved a few times before. Seemed like each move stuff in the attic grew. Our last move we decided to thin the attic. A bunch of folks from church helped us make the move. Almost every time we pulled something from the attic we asked, anyone want this? 😆 It helped at the time but after 23 years of being here the attic is full again. Hope y'all enjoy those delicious Thanksgiving hamburgers!

They occasionally flashed up nice Hawaii pics. @brillohead Maya Chan looks like a great choice too. That is where we were probably going before the Ruins were brought up. What helped get the numbers down. I will do my blood test a week before the next cruise. I hope you can stay away from statins.

We are doing Nachi Cocom in Cozumel. We were looking at Maya Chan Beach in Costa Maya which looks real good but our cruise friends mentioned checking out the Ruins so we are doing our research.

Has anyone done the Mayan Ruins? If so, how was the experience?

I want to try Celebrity but I need to get familiar with the ships. I finally got my RC status transferred to Celebrity. Maybe if I check out the Celebrity forum I can get a better understanding of it. Have fun. Looking forward to hearing how you liked it and seeing pics.

Growing up I remember having Oyster stuffing. Our family doesn't even like the thought of it.

How was the fish. It looks good. Last year I had a bad experience with it in the MDR. I couldn't understand the waiter was saying they didn't have their regular fish and they were substituting it with another. I love eating good fish and making a taco out of it would be nice. Allure now has El Loco Fresh. I might try that trick.

The sous vide method just made it too good. My oldest DD and I are the two that love turkey. My youngest DD and Sharon can do without it but once everyone tasted it.... gone. I usually have enough to make sandwiches with some of the leftover rolls. Soooo good. I need to just make me another one.

You can't cook everything. Kitchens have limits. Just ask the chefs on Symphony. 😆

I have been banned from climbing up ladders past a few feet. I still sneak a small one into the garden.

Coco Cay. I like them both. More choices at Coco Cay. You can enjoy the slides and the pools or you can find less crowded beach areas if you are willing to walk.

With 7 grandchildren it is getting louder each get together but hey, I can handle that and they have so much fun together. The SIL's got together and cleaned up after the meal too. 😃

Congrats. I too am surprised how early they informed you that you got the room. It's nice you have had 3 now. We were upgraded twice last year but nothing this year. Our last cruise showed no suites available at least a month out and our next January shows only 2 jr suites as of today. Those GS's sure can spoil you. Enjoy your cruise.

We had our family get together to celebrate Thanksgiving last weekend. I sous vide the turkey and it came out great. This year there was only 1 1/2 pieces left to make a sandwich with the next day. We also had some great ham. Sharon always makes rolls from a recipe pasted down from her grandmother. And we always have green bean casserole and a sweet potato casserole with pecans (no pic) that was so good it was like eating dessert. We also had pumpkin pie, Kentucky Derby pie, deviled eggs and other stuff I can't remember..... oh stuffing.... I ate more than I did at any specialty restaurants with the UDP. 😆 I added more after the pic. I guess we had peas and mash potatoes too. As good as the meal was, getting the family together was even more enjoyable.

😆 You got me too! I was like, cr@p 😳, I can't believe it! I hit the guide and looked back a couple hours and then went to Wednesday........

It's been years ago but we had a similar deal happen. We agreed to cruise a few weeks later and only had to pay port fees and taxes. The rest was refunded.

We spent almost all day at Cococay's Thrill Waterpark the last 2 times there and we did not see jellyfish or sharks. 😉

Hate to hear the MDR problems. The Ovation staff last May was thin and assigned to many tables. We also had a 1st time main waiter who had an assistant that had never worked the MDR. They tried their best. The experience convinced us to try the UDP on our Allure cruise last month. I hope it gets better for you. I am enjoying the pics. Thanks for taking the time to share.
