I CANNOT READ ANY POSTS AS THE TYPED WORDS ARE TOO PALE!
I know this sounds nuts but it is not my Mac, all other sites are fine, not pale.
Maybe if you all pressed harder on your keypad?lol

Yes, I just pulled back from buying WiFi and drink package on our second leg of b2b......maybe something better will pop up!
-
That makes sense M.R.Julius, thanks.

We are on Constellation in May and want to get an internet package but after I purchased the one time for 9 days, cost $199 it also says
Enjoy a discounted daily rate for your entire voyage. It's your hassle-free solution to staying connected onboard. (end of quote)
so does this mean we will pay a daily price on top of the $199 I already paid? If so, kind of crazy no?
I have read all the restrictions etc and still can’t get an answer.
TIA

On all our previous cruises, formal meant just that, even some tuxes, but on Meraviglia in YC, we were surprised to see no tuxedoes or women in gowns, just suits and women in proper dresses. It was a disappointment since we dressed for “Elegant “ on the 3 nights it specified. Now we are relieved for future YC cruises we won’t take elegant clothes. So...men in shirts w/tie, with or without jacket....women in nice top and pants or skirt...or really whatever makes you comfortable.

Sorry Bea, so many wonderful free goodies in the YC, I got all mixed up, forgot about Black benefits.
Ice cream is pretty important to us so could you tell me which ships have Venchi? And thanks for sharing info across the board!
-
Venchi is not on the Meraviglia so no free crepes or good ice cream. Its a new vendor and have forgotten the name...Jaques something? The ice cream was delicious at $4.50 a scoop. Still get the free chocolate ship in YC.
-
I keep reading on here that crepes and gelato are free in YC however in August on Meraviglia, those items were not free from the ice cream shop (forgot the name) but there was free tasteless ice cream in the buffet area.
So where are the free crepes? Thanks!

Voyagers Club is MSC reward program, the Black card may be referring to that. Black being their highest level...so the Perk may be referring to one of the free goodies included with your cruise if you are Black in Voyagers.
Sorry Beamafar had this covered, didn't see.

We recently returned from 14 days in Norway, No. Sea and it was pretty rough on floor 16 in cabin 16014. I usually do not get sick but 2 days of taking the pills and drinking lots of gingerale was necessary. Stay mid ship and lower levels if you are sensitive. I never suffered but wanted to stay in YC and it was well it.

We love the Hideaway and we will be doing a B2B in May on Constellation, wondering if they added the Hideaway on the refurb? TIA

We were offered anything from the starters, entrees & desserts. I had filet, can’t remember what dh had. My steak was tough but probably cause I asked for well done.

I have dined in Chops a half dozen times and have yet to be impressed. You will definitely want to dine in the YC dining room every night. You will find the food and service there to be better than any other DR on Fantasia.
If you are in YC then your drinks are free all over the ship. We found the YC dining room had better food than the pay restaurants, this was on Meragvilia.

I find that really unfair! You could sail with MSC every year and still lose all points if you wait more than 3 to sail.

We recommend both, saw Viaggio and it was great so Sonor probably is as well.
Just the cocktails....

Is there an Apple store on the re-done Constellation? TIA!
-
We were on the Meraviglia in August and we purchased tickets online for drink & show but could not pick the date or time until onboard.
-
Is it only new cruisers with MSC that have the 3 yr time limit in cruising points? I can see why we (new) have the time limit but veterans with MSC should not have limits on their time for gaining points. TIA
-
The same for me as well and based on this, I am down at least $100+ onboard credit. I can only get into the site, with my reservation number and have just 1100 points (my last cruise). I am really concerned, though when my travel agent calls them and sends me new invoices, all seems to be good.
I am still concerned and I would expect better for a YC booking!
Just received an email from MSC showing our new point level and the points from our last cruise which totaled 2300, our grand total is 12300. Also in the email are great offerings for new cruises thru March 2020....I am very pleased with this cruiseline!

Our Butler walked us from lounge, to our luggage and to the bus for the airport, could not run more smoothly. The pampering is beyond any we have experienced.

I'm surprised by some of the answers. These tough folks, "I'd put him in his place, etc.". Really? At dinner on a ship? Who cares. It's not that important. There's a time and place for everything. Sometimes the adult thing is to just look the other way - you don't always have to tell people when they are behaving badly.
Remember, when he wakes up, he's still himself. He can't get away from being a jerk. We have a choice.......
Yes, I agree with you!

First time MSC cruisers here.
We have sailed mostly RCL and can request an egg crate topper and electric fan pre cruise. This has worked out well as after boarding, often they aren't available.
Does MSC allow for such a pre-cruise request? If so, how?
We enjoy extra egg crate toppers and a fan in the cabin.
We are in YC, does that help our chances?
I do understand your need for fan, we have family members same need. I would fill out the special needs form and request one. YC will do their very best for you.
Regarding topper, do the same except we always get a topper, forgot this time and the bed was wonderful!!! Same as we have at home and we suffer from arthritis and need special mattress. Really MSC has gone overboard on the mattresses.

Often on ships you have to chase down promised gifts and perks but not on MSC.
Chocolate ship delivered first day; 2
Wine in room daily, on ice.
A nice notepad and pen from Butler. 2
2 full dinners in Butchers, or restaurant of choice (it clearly states buy one, get one for Black and when we questioned that, waiter said...2 Black, 2 free)
Wheelchair was free, states not available but ours was never taken away. This was not a gift.
Free ice cream at pool, tho €4.50 for a dip at JeanPhillipe
Those not in YC had to pay for pool ice cream €3.50
My DH was ill first few days from airline food, saw the doctor 3 times and was not charged even tho we had insurance.
I know I have forgotten some things but just want all to know how kind and considerate everyone was, a whole new experience for some.
