  1. Not that it really matters, but you will not be going to New York, but New Jersey. It’s a quick ride to the airport, they usually say to get to the airport 3 hours before your international flight.
  2. We’ve always just got extra keys to open cabins, family of 7 and it wasn’t confusing.
  3. No need to feel that way, just tip a dollar or two if you think you will get better service, we always do and never had any issue getting service.
  4. I just watched one - and clearly they were wearing wristbands.
  5. 15 minutes without traffic (could be bridge traffic on the way back) shared van $5 pp.
  6. Nope, casino and marina shops, security checks for wristbands.
  7. Fall is peak season for Boston (my daughter goes to college there).
  8. I don’t think you can transfer meals in a package, if you buy her 5 she will need to get those 5 meals herself.
  9. She won’t be allowed in, they check your card.
  10. The kids menu is the same as the rest of the restaurants onboard, posted on this thread, kids can order from it everywhere. ETA quoted the wrong person.
  11. I haven’t been since they closed, but from reviews it looks like beach, chairs, restroom access and food/drink can be purchased. Junkanoo down the road is free, but you have to pay extra for chairs, so probably a similar cost.
  12. What kind of swimming lessons? The Atlantic Ocean isn’t the best place for non swimmers.
  13. By selling expensive products to customers, that’s where the profits are, which is the reason for the hard sell.
  14. Absolutely! NCL wouldn’t even let us put the kids in a connecting cabin. We are a family of 7 and always book one parent with three, and one parent with two, go to guest services and get extra key cards, super easy.
  15. I don’t think taxes are added to drinks when docked in Nassau.
  16. There are free coffee machines in the buffet and you can get free coffee in restaurants.
  17. I think margaritaville would be the closest. Nassau has hotels with day passes and they are all inclusive (and expensive). The old Hilton just has a beach and restrooms, with food and drink to purchase.
  18. I’d say not worth it. You need to give yourself time to get back to the ship with bridge traffic. The earliest you’d get there is 2, finding loungers/lockers might be difficult, lines will probably long, tubes hard to find, and it’s pretty huge. When we’ve gone, we were there by 9 am and still struggled getting a lot in, even with having gone to figure out where everything is.
  19. I doubt it, otherwise it’s an easy fix and the OP is a seasoned cruiser and would know this.
  20. In my suburban town neighborhoods without retail aren’t metered, but there are meters on the Main Street and streets branching off, plus permit parking only near bus stops, and 4 metered lots (town is 3 miles).
  21. I guess you live somewhere more remote? My little northeast town charges 50 cents an hour for parking, a larger town 3 miles away charges $2 an hour for parking (non tourist areas). I love paid parking, more likely to get a spot.
