  1. Yesterday we booked one cruise sailing on February 7th 2020. The agency got the information from NCL that we should pay a deposit until next Monday and then the final payment December 10th ( 60 days before). I was reading about the 120 days deadline...is it a deadline only for USA or for all the regions ( I'm in Portugal) and maybe there is a mistake? Thanks for your inputs ☺️

  2. I learned today that the things are diferent when buying the cruise in diferent countries. FoR instance in Europe: "Terms and Conditions:Offer is applicable to all categories including IX, OX, BX and MX (Sail Away Categories)." and 20% gratuities on the retail value of the Premium Beverage Package ($19.80 USD per person per day) and/or Soda Package ($1.59 USD per person per day) are included. https://www.ncl.com/es/en/free-at-sea 🙂

In Europe it's built into the price of the perk so you don't see it as an extra charge when booking.

Thank you! I was reading about paying 99 + 20% everywhere! This was driving me nuts 😄 So, i we buy the Premium Beverage Perk, the 99€ is the only thing that we will have to pay if we buy 15$ drinks, right? (I'm asking this because my husband drink but I don't drink, so the package will only be used by him)

  4. hello!I don't understand the 20% gratuities regarding to the Premium Beverage Package perk. On the NCL website it says:"20% gratuities on the retail value of the Premium Beverage Package ($19.80 USD per person per day) and/or Soda Package ($1.59 USD per person per day) are included." Why do we have to pay more?

    Exactly this.

in theory you are able to retrieve your bottle to drink elsewhere (certainly other dining areas) but in practice we have found it a no-go. It takes so long to retrieve it and requires people with special access to go to the central area it is not worth the hassle.

We stick to drinking it in the dining room on a consecutive night and they have managed to lose the bottle even doing that.

Thank you :) We prefer to drink after the dinner but I totally understand the hassle...i will open it in the cabin :)

Imagine how much storage each bar would need to store wine bottles for guests.

You would trust a bar on the ship to save your bottle? I don't think so.

We did it on other cruise line but with bottles we bought inside the ship, that's why I'm asking. On other cruise line they have all the bottles stored in the same place and we can ask for our bottle no matter where we are in the ship.

Thank you all for your inputs:classic_happy:

    Pack your own corkscrew.

    Open your own bottle.

Get glasses from closest bar and take back to your cabin.

Pour your own wine in the cabin.

Take wine with you wherever you wish to drink it, even in dining room or theatre.

Store your own wine in your cabin.

Thanks! That's what we sometimes do, we ask the steward for a corkscrew and glasses and open it in the cabin. ☺️ But I was wondering if we could already have the bottle at the bar instead of returning to the cabin after dinner to get our wine 😉

  8. Hello! I understand that we can bring 2 bottles of wine per cabin that are subject to corkage fee if open at the restaurants and that they will save it for us if we don't drink it. But, regarding to lounges/ bars...can we bring our own bottle to one bar? And will they save the bottle for us? Thank you😊

  9. Hello! Is it possible to know in which days have been the theme nights aboard Oasis of the Seas since it arrived to Mediterranean? Im traveling with a big group and would like to organize some theme nights for the group but would like to coordinate with the ship theme nights.

Right now I have a different schedulle from diferent cruise compasses:

    Mon: formal

    Tues: White  OR  Tropical/White

    Wed: Tropical + 70's

    Thu: Latin

    Fri: Formal

    Sat: none

    Thank you :)

  10. Hello, we will need to use internet while onboard Oasis of the Seas and we have some questions:

    - When they say one devidce does it means that we can only use the internet in one device each time (like when using the smarthphone we can't use the laptop) or does it means that we are only able to chose one device to use the internet ( like, if we use the laptop to login we can only use the lapttop)

    - Is there any 24 h plan? Can we use the 15% C&A discount to buy the 24h plan?(If there is any)

    Thanks

I do not understand why anyone would want to swim with pigs.

What is the appeal of this activity ?

If you google Exuma, you can see what is appealing, it is just fun and cute and the waters are gorgeous. From the previous answer it is not Exuma what they are selling but I believe that the feeling who books is the same ;)

  12. Thank you very much for this topic. My parents will be in oasis in less than a month and they are starting to pack. i have some questions if you don't mind.

-Besides the 70's and the white night is there any other theme night? We were aboard Allure of the seas last year in Caribbean and we had Tropical night.

-Is the MDR open at lunch during port days?

    -Are there any craft/jewels workshop?

    Thank you!

  13. Is the genie a mandatory thing for the ones who book suites? We would love to book one suite for one special cruise, but we don't want that kind of service, we love to plan the things for ourselves and we don't want someone else to book the things for us or to be around every time (yes, I know, we are the exception :classic_biggrin: )
