I think Lorey2007 may have missed the ROOM SERVICE part of your original comment.

Vouchers can't be used for room service fresh-squeezed juice, but they CAN be used in the MDR and Windjammer.  (Just like the DBP can't be used for room service drinks.)

Yes this is what I meant in the MDR for breakfast. I didn't ask about room service.

We used ours on Harmony in Nov for fresh squeezed OJ.  The rules for use state anything $13 and under with the exception that Starbucks from the standalone Starbucks kiosks aren't included.  I don't remember seeing any exclusion for juice, in fact I remember it states you can use it for juice.

I'll be checking with the loyality desk. It was not a great experience being 1st time diamond. The MDR manager said he was doing me a favor.

    It's new on their website.

Accepted Types of Tests and Results

    • There are two common types of diagnostic COVID-19 tests
      • A molecular test, also called a PCR test or NAAT test – our testing requirements call this a “PCR test”
      • An antigen test, also called a rapid antigen test – our testing requirements call this an “antigen test"
    • The test must be supervised by a health professional, such as a doctor, pharmacy technician, public health worker, or telehealth professional. Telehealth testing at home is only accepted for vaccinated guests, and only when it is conducted under live video supervision. Learn more about acceptable telehealth tests including our home test kit.
    • You must receive a valid results document from your test provider that includes the name of the lab that processed the test, the lab’s CLIA Lab Number or Certification Number, the address of the lab, your name, the date the test was taken, type of test, and your negative result. This can be a printed document, email, or telehealth app notification. Fully handwritten doctor’s notes (such as those written on a prescription pad) will not be accepted. Minimal handwritten components (such as a check mark on a “negative” box) are acceptable as long as the other required information is printed on the document.

So I wasn't sure.  But if others have used CVS rapid antigen and it was fine, I won't worry.  And I won't worry about the middle name.  Saw that concern for those using NAVICA app / Abbott test with proctor.

    Thanks all!

That lab number statement above has been there since I have been researching tests at CVS starting in November.

Sorry to beat a dead horse here, but is the Rapid Diagnostic Test (ID NOW) accepted by Royal?  I cannot tell from the Royal FAQs and we have no Walgreens near us that do the Antigen testing.

It has to be the Binax Now Covid-19 Ag Card home test that is done with a proctor

No middle name necessary to match your passport using CVS and their print out results...just your first and last name and date of birth....etc.

Please stop the stressing out...I did it enough for the two of us prior to our Navigator cruise.

Enjoy..you'll see how easy this all ended up being.

Thanks again next I'm worrying about the weather since we're  flying from Michigan.

I just checked the test I took in November for a cruise and I did not have my middle initial or name on my results and they were fine.  You can always see if CVS can just add it to be sure.  I am doing the At home one tonight after midnight and from what I understand the company that proctors the test does not even have a place for middle name.

I did get the Emed test for backup. I either read or saw a youtube where emed made someone update their name with the middle name included because it didn't match their passport.  When I signed up with Navica I put our middle names in. I don't believe there was a space for them I just put first and middle name on the first line.

    Have a great cruise.

We have also had limited availability here in MI but luckily the location just 2 miles from me has had appointments available 2 weeks out for weeks now.  I have the home tests also but I like to have other options as back up.  I will get up early take the home test and if all goes well then cancel the other test.

    I thought I was doing a multi quote but I guess I didn't do it right.😳

I was able to make our appointments at a CVS in Wyandotte near our house for next week. When I made them I don't think I used our middle names. Is it required to match your passport? If so can I have CVS add them when we go for the appointment?  This sure has caused a lot of stress and a lot of extra work. Can't wait to just get on this cruise.

    Thanks for all your help.

Thanks for all your help and for all the information about your Navigator cruise.

  9. We will be on Navigator two weeks from today?  How accurate are the menus for the main dining room that are listed in the app? I wanted to make a couple of specialty restaurant reservations but it seems they only have 3 days loaded in the app. If we have to wait until we get onboard will the weeks menus be displayed in the MDR?

☺️☺️  Oops … now that doesn’t make sense does it??   My apologies for the error. It took 2 HOURS to get the test results via my email.

I did the test because my hubby was around someone who tested positive.  Myself, hubby & son are all negative .

    🛳🛳

    Bobbi

Thank you for clarifying that. We definitely need the 2 hour results.

I have Kaiser, so it’s free. I just did my 1st antigen (quick test) last Sunday. I received the negative result Tuesday morning. The CVS nurse/employee told me results are taking 1-2 days now.
Aren’t ALL tests Free now? Maybe go to the official California Covid/CDC page?

P.S.  Just did a quick look. YES, all (antigen & PCR) tests are free for insured AND uninsured (the Govt picks up the tab for uninsured).

     🛳🛳

     Bobbi

You took the "rapid antigen" test with results in less than 2 hours, and you didn't get your results for 2 days? Did she tell you the test was negative & you just did't get the email for 2 days?

    What day was.your cruise?

  12. I ordered the Emed tests package of 6 on Sunday. Yesterday I got a confirmation that they were shipped and I received them today. That was great service.

Now the question the carboard shipping box has an eMed label, separate from the shipping label, with a large QR code it says:

scan QR code to start testing or visit eMed.com

    ID# a-berdbnf-erf-aaa-aad (not real number)

Can I open the carboard shipping box to make sure I have received the 6 tests. I don't plan on opening a test until I need to use one which would be later this month.  I would just like to check the contents and the expiration date.  Also the box has some loose stuff rattling around in it is that unusual?

    Thanks
