We're on the Crown for the August 25 sailing to Alaska out of Vancouver. It looks like all the Mini-suites and full suites are on the Dolphin Deck. DId I miss something?
I don't think they actually "require" a dinner jacket or tux. But on our TA on the Regal - most men wore at least a coat and tie. There were quite a few Europeans on our cruise.
Regal is my very favorite Princess ship. I think the girls will have a wonderful time. But - all our cruises on the Regal have been TA's and there were no kids on the ship. At least that I ever saw.
I read on C***H*** today that Ruby Princess has canceled stops in Victoria and replaced them with Prince Rupert for the entire 2023 Alaska cruise season. I wonder if this will also happen on our Crown Princess Alaska cruise in August. Any ideas?
I think I would hate to be on a political charter - whether conservative or liberal. Or a "lifestyle orientation cruise". We almost went on a cruise that had a group called " Bikers Gone Wild At Sea" on another cruise line. Fortunately our TA was able to cancel it for us.
we got a fantastic deal on a CC on the SKY 2 years ago. This year we did regular Mini on the Regal because the CC was what I thought way to expensive. I doubt we will do CC again
I also prefer the food on Carnival - the steakhouse and Italian are about the same. Carnival has more "included options" than any other cruise line. That being said, if its just wife and me its Princess. IF we take grandkids its Carnival. I have never seen any fighting or stumbling falling down drunks on the Carnival cruises we've been on. I will say that the passengers on Princess are a bit more "refined" than on Carnival.
OF the last two cruises we were on, at least one of them had a Wakeview Bar - one was the Sky - the other was Carnival Vista. Is Mermaid's tail on Regal, I forget some of the names of the bars beause I am old
