  1. Hope you have a wonderful time! We sailed her over from the US and both the ship and staff were great!
  2. @schmoopie17 We got very lucky with the weather and there was only one day of even moderate waves. Almost no rocking or rolling of the ship during the day. I did feel a bit of swaying one night while in bed - figured the captain was going faster while we were all asleep.
  3. Currently on the Pearl for the transatlantic. Staff have all been wonderful, haven't attended the main shows in the theater, but there's been plenty of music to listen to every night. Food has been some of the best we've had on NCL. The Great Outdoors Cafe on deck 12 aft has plenty of tables in both sun and shade to sit on. Buffet and atrium can both get a bit crowded, but if you go at off times it's not as bad. This class of ships is probably our favorite....hope you enjoy!
  4. Taxi line was right outside the terminal between the shuttle and the excursion busses, and very clearly marked. Several pulled up while we were waiting for the shuttle. One more note for the roll call...the hop on hop off bus WAS running, but the busses were pretty far apart.
  5. @mking8288 Got Iceland all ready for you. Cool but not too cold yesterday...walked around the downtown area since we'll be doing the Golden Circle next year. Free shuttle running about every 15-20 minutes from the port to Harpa Hall. Foggy and raining today, cast off in about an hour heading to Belfast. Internet pretty strong over T-Mobile, have been catching up on email. Hope you all have a wonderful time!
  6. Boarding the Pearl in two days and we haven't heard anything on embarkation being delayed. Just the usual spam on watching the safety video. 😁 We'll make sure to get Halifax and Reykjavik ready for you all!
  7. My parents and I were also on this cruise and had a wonderful time. Staff on the ship were wonderful, our steward was one of the best we've had on NCL. Ate at Cagney's, Los Lobos, La Cucina, Teppenyaki, Bamboo and the buffet and the food was wonderful everywhere. Buffet was a little small, but never had too long of a wait for a table and people were always willing to share. Was sad to miss Liverpool, but ship (and weather) happens. 😁 Was my first trip on the Dawn and loved it immensely. Would be happy to sail her again.
  8. Can't wait to read the trip report! I love your (always well-balanced) reviews, and I'm looking forward to seeing what you think of Iceland and Norway, since I'm going there in 2025!
  9. We were just on the Joy 3 weeks ago and @KeithJennerhas it right - used the coupon in Teppanyaki and it covered the full amount for 2 people.
  10. @KeithJennerThank you for the pictures on Kirkwall! We're taking the Dawn next year for a British Isles cruise and were just talking about going on this tour. Looks great!
  11. We took the bus last week, and there's a pink tent right outside the port building to catch the bus.
  12. Just got off today and saw a lot of new crew members heading towards the ship. Enjoy!!!
  13. I'm also on this cruise, and I heard them call for all passengers with shore excursions, then for certain decks several times for both US and non-US citizens. We're in the Haven and were done at 1pm.
  14. That's my question. We're on a round trip Canada/New England from New York in a month. I've read that Canada doesn't require testing for vaccinated travelers, but I'm still confused.
  15. There's a reason we called him "The Fixer!!" 😁
