Which cruise are you on? All the ones out of NY for September going to Bermuda seem to have 7 excursions listed and priced for Newport.  The two out of Boston have many more excursions listed, but not yet priced. Have you called Oceania to check?

We're on the Sept 18th cruise out of Boston. I log in every day to check and it's as I said. After your comment, I looked without logging in and I see what you see. So the excursion are only showing when I'm not logged in. I tried in several browsers and it's on their end.

Is there a particular number I should call?

I think the email was sent to Elite and above status members.  I sent the same question I asked for a previous webinar, which was never addressed:  bring back the welcome glass of bubbly when we board!

Elite Plus and we didn't get it.

  3. I'm finding the excursions on our next cruise very frustrating. Our September 2024 Bermuda cruise is supposed to visit Newport, Rhode Island and 2 ports in Bermuda. There are no excursion listed for Newport and very few in Bermuda. The only excursion that includes snorkeling is listed but can't be booked. I'm not sure if the $600 Shore Excursion Credit has any value if there's nothing worth booking.

You said you had the drink package.  You didn't have to pay as it was covered under your premium drink package.  IF I was to do this I would have to pay for the wine pairing as I do not have a drink package.  So on top of the price, we would be charged for the wine pairing.

I'm sorry if I confused you. I was just trying to say that if you have a drink package, you don't have to buy the wine pairing.

  5. On our last cruise, when my husband expressed interest in a second lobster tail, the waiter explained that there was a charge for a second tail. He added that I could order a lobster tail in addition to my dinner and there would be no extra charge.

  6. We've been at 3 or 4 chef's tables on Celebrity and enjoyed every one. We have one booked for next month. We've had good table companions and bad but that hasn't affected our enjoyment. We're pretty good at ignoring objectional people and even being amused by them. Our last chef's table, we spent most of the dinner trying to figure out the weird family dynamic of the other guests. Only the parents spoke, not the adult children.

One chef's table, the other guest were a bunch of young tech workers trying out something they hadn't done before. They were very friendly and we swapped tech stories.  All were great guys.

JUST A PSA for anyone wanting to cruise to Israel.

We are booked on the 11 day Israel/Egypt cruise in March of 2025 and just got notified that it was changed to a Greek Isle Cruise.

Were you offered any compensation or the option to cancel and get a refund? We're booked on the same cruise in 2026. It's a long way off so probably not affected but I'm curious.

  8. I'm more interested in if they upgraded the TV and other electronics. We were quarantined on our last cruise on Infinity and the TV was the older one, without video on demand and horrible reception.

I have tried for a week to book an excursion, to have the website and the app tell me...( hang tight website is busy or we are adding fun check back later to just this can't be processed you will have to call to book.) I called last Sunday and today. Again, at first the associate says no problem I can book that for you. Then they get to the end of the transaction and they can't complete it. Then they tell me IT is aware of the issue. When I say well when I first told you about what was going on at my end you acted like it was new and now you are telling me the whole company can't book for anyone. Just trying to see if the real story is out there somewhere. Maybe IT can be more helpful during week day hours.

Have you tried using a different browser? Or at least not booking on a weekend? The site never seems to work on weekends.

I know there is a big discount on the day after Thanksgiving.  I'm wondering if there is a major discount near another holiday, like Memorial Day or Easter? Right now my cruises to Australia/New Zealand is offering 5%. I'm hoping for a lot more!

The same is true for my Celebrity Infinity Israel & Egypt  cruise but it's not until 2026. I check the excursions everyday for a price drop. I already got a price drop on the drink package upgrade.

Has anyone done the dreadful deed of removing belongings that have been occupying a chaise by themselves for, well, a while? Of course before doing so, you could perhaps ask nearby folks if they've seen any passengers using the chaise in a reasonable time period.

I have cruised on other lines and taken books, sun screen, towels, etc. from a chair; oddly, not ONCE did anyone show up, either to claim the chair or their stuff - they were gone!!

So, fellow cruisers, who among you has been so bold as to TAKE A CHAIR from another passenger who was MIA? What was the result? Have you done so on Oceania?

We do it all the time and have never had a problem. We do NOT remove anything of value. We pick a lounger with towels, newsletters or advertisements from the shops.

I did get the classic bev package. If there are deals for an upgrade before sailing, will I get an email or should I be checking my account every day?

Check the website every day. If you're logged in, sometime it will give you the upgrade price. If it doesn't, figure out the difference between the Classic and the Premium. A "good" price is $6-$9 per day. On one of my upcoming cruises, I got a Black Friday deal of $6 and on the other, I grabbed it as soon as it came down to $9 (the cruise is in 2026 and I'm sure the prices will go up by then.)

Any further suggestions?   Am I doing something incorrectly?   When I open your link on my computer, I see the app download, but on tablets, not.

Really? After I posted the link, I realized that I hadn't installed it on my new tablet. I navigated to the website I posted and clicked on download. It installed a Aptoide  app first, then the Celebrity app. After the Celebrity app was installed, I deleted the Aptoide
