  1. Last August I booked a cruise with the Travel Agent division of a big box store. My cruise included Drink Package, Free Wifi and Gratuities. This September I was making a payment on the phone and discovered that they didn’t show the perks on my booking even though they were included on every receipt I had received and on the booking on their website. I knew that Celebrity’s website didn’t show my perks, but I’ve had that happen before. It took several days, multiple phone calls and a few emails but they finally promised to give me all the perks before my sailing date. The cruise is now about three months away and while I still don’t have the perks, I believe that they will add them to my cruise at some point. They are well known for their customer service.
There is a Black Friday sale on drink packages that impacts my cruise and if I had the Classic Package, I would upgrade to premium at a good price. I called the TA to request that they add my drink package now so I can upgrade it. I’m still waiting to hear back from them but the phone agent said something that I think must be reported on this board. She told me that this happened to a number of people. There was a problem with their interface with Celebrity and a lot of bookings had the same issue as mine.
Please, if you booked with the Travel Agent division of a big box store, call and verify that you have your perks. I would hate for someone to try to deal with this while on a cruise

Read the T&Cs for each sale and you'll see they are not combinable with other 'sale' prices - no double-dipping.  Also, these are for new bookings only.  You'll have to have your travel agent confer with Oceania to determine which sale is the best for you.

My cruise has been booked for several months and I was able to get the price adjusted.

  3. The first time we  cruised, I was afraid we'd have to eat at the buffet all the time. My past experience with buffets almost caused me to skip sailing. When we boarded the ship, the only place open to eat was the buffet and I was sure I had made a horrible mistake. Luckily, once we sailed the other options were available and the rest is history.

Interestingly enough, the buffet now holds some of our favorite memories.

There was the time we were on a culinary cruise and they brought aboard mussels from the port and served them in the buffet. And the time we came out of Sushi on Five after dinner and discovered they were serving lobster in the buffet (we ate lobster anyway!). Or the beautiful exotic fruit station on our Alaska cruise out of Seattle.

We now check the buffet at both lunch and dinner.

Respectfully, the CC emails are part of the promo emails that Celebrity sends, not something separate and distinct on their own.

There are emails specifically to Captain's Club members. Captain's Club newsletters, surveys and previews of sales are all sent to Captain's Club members.

That's where it is for me. There's a section called "Offers & Communications" that has subscription options. There is no separate option for Power Up - it's all or nothing.

It doesn't have an option for Captains Club, which is what I want. I get all the promotional emails.

    Thank you!!
We have also done a Cherry Blossom cruise on HAL Westerdam.
After our first Japan cruise on Millennium we chose HAL in 2019 for the better itinerary - and way better price.

While we didn’t become fans of HAL, the cruise certainly deepened our affection for Japan. And soon after we booked another one on Celebrity… which was then cancelled and lifted & shifted twice to the one we are on now.

so if some of you like to get a glimpse of Japan during spring time, here’s where we wrote about that cruise:

What month were you there in the Spring?

Yea I remember those nibbles,Hubby would say no thanks it will spoil our dinner! But I always grabbed a couple especially the ones with the cheese lol

My sisters and I love "snackies". There are times at holidays that we have so many that there's more than is on the dinner table. You know I went to the CC event just for the snackies.

wow.. wonder how they  must feel about  Suite guests.. In all our cruising years, we  never saw any Elites   mention or flaunt status, esp now

Feelings  of insecurity for sure! They are free to go elsewhere!

We did several years ago. Some woman was proclaiming loudly that she was an Elite at embarkation and deserved special treatment. Unfortunately she had clearly never embarked on a Celebrity ship (or maybe any ship). I wish I could remember the specifics but I can't.
