wolfie11 thx for the info. It is helpful. Agonizing over one tour company being better then another is not quite what I am asking. More so reputable / reliable operator is more what I'm asking.

I have read Harv & Marv many great reviews but nothing on Juneau Lighthouse Tours. If they were partners or something could assume same Juneau. Thx

It appears Harv & Marv and maybe Alaska Galore Tours may be related or maybe the same ??? Have similar websites that appear to offer some of the same excursions. Pics of same vessels.

Will adding travel party guests make everything linked together like all dining reservations. We want to pick different couples from the entire cruise group for different nights but no more than 4 a night a table.

@arizonaperson Thanks I will log in and check out if there was a same time box. I don't recall seeing one but again new to PCL. Logged back on website and I didn't see a box but I switched it to shared table, then it let select different days/times when switched back to private. Is there a way to reserve in Savoy with other guest that are not linked bookings?

New to PCL. Many cruises on CCL and always have selected assigned/traditional seating. Cruising on Sapphire Princess Alaska itinerary next year. What we hoped we could so doesn't seem to work. That said still learning PCL website. Out plan was to make educated guesses for reservation times based on port/excursion times in either Savoy or Vivaldi dining rooms. We are fine with the same dining room but wanted to select different times each night. When I selected the first reservation all looked great. I went to another day and noticed the time I selected for the first day is set for all days. Am I doing something wrong or is what I am trying to do not possible? Our concern is doing walk up having a long wait. Someone in our party (4) has dietary consideration that we can't wait an hour for a table. And don't want to force the group to go to buffet if there was a long wait as a walk up. Also I did try to make private. Prefer a table just for our group. Thanks and hope this makes sense.

We are on a cruise tour Aug 2025. We were hoping to arrive a couple days early in Fairbanks and doing a Northern Lights tour. Some tour operators state Aurora season is 21 Aug to 21 Apr. We have tried to contact several operators but no response. Can anyone recommend an operator that may do an Aurora tour in August but earlier than 21 August.

Are any private excursions allowed (or even available) to pick up guests at Princess Denali or McKinley Lodges?

Another dilemma we have been debating. Right now we are scheduled for a 11 day. 4 day land, then 7 day cruise. Signed up with other cruise friends and debating dropping the land part and doing a DIY for those days. Just seems like a wasted time and some activities we "think" we may do better on our own. Land portion is fly into and stay in Fairbanks. Fairbanks Hotel 1 night Day 1 Riverboat 8:15-12:45 (guess this may be an OK excursion); then 1 - 4 coach to Denali Wilderness Lodge. Day 2 Free morning; History tour in afternoon which we are going to try to switch to Tundra tour Day 3 Free morning; coach to McKinley Lodge; free evening. Day 4 Coach to Talkeetna to catch train to Whiter. Train ride is 1:45 - 7. Get on cruise ship. Seems like the potential for much dead time, or being forced into excursions (which don't seem like many on Princess website) to book once at lodges. Debating flying into Anchorage. Getting a rental car. and spending those 4 land days around Seward and/or Kenai. But our first trip to Alaska. We do all our own planning / private excursions in Caribbean, but Alaska seems overwhelming.

Safe to assume none of them (new or older) have a restroom? A 5 hour tour we have to assume must be some bathroom stops along the way?

We do have the small boat tour @ Hubbard Glacier booked.

Hubbard Glacier, Glacier Bay, and Port stops Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan. We have never been to Alaska. Will the glaciers we see cruising thru Hubbard and Glacier bay be enough.... We are debating between a helicopter / seaplane excursion in Juneau or whale watching. We would lean towards whale watching if the glaciers we see thru Hubbard & Glacier Bays are enough. We get the aerial view is much different. We don't have anything planned for Ketchikan but don' think whale watching or any type of aerial tour is best there either. Thanks.

We love this itinerary. Done it last 2 cruises.

We had lunch at Mongolian Wok 2 times. Not a fan of the pre determined menu. The meals were good, just prefer the pick all your ingredients.
