  1. Of course they can be frozen. Our Waitrose usually has them in packets of six in the frozen cabinet. The fresh ones you can get where they have fresh meat counters are slightly nicer.
  2. I think so. And the picture looks much like appears in QG on Cunard, except it’s a bigger peace of toast.
  3. It may all be down to your friend that they have appeared on the actual QG menu, because they didn’t for a long time. Just in case, if you are in touch, please pass on my profound thanks.
  4. On Cunard, I mean. 🙂 When I have them at home, I usually don them for dinner with mushrooms and sherry.
  5. Take the sleeper, which goes on its own ferry.
  6. I can’t think of a ship that had more beautiful lines than Windsor Castle.
  7. Brittany Ferries has some nice ferries, with good restaurants. And the two Stena Harwich to Hook ferries are impressive, I believe.
  8. Furthermore, the original poster made quite clear they had no intention of breaking the dress code by going into the formal areas in inappropriate garb. So even the most sensitive are unlikely to be distressed. But I tend to agree that fitting a suit into the packing would enable them both to have a better time. 🙂
  9. Other days I have devilled kidneys (yum) or sausages, bacon and mushrooms. 🙂
  10. Aren’t all natural yogs supposed to be fermented foods I usually have some with my seasonal berries for breakfast on Cunard.
  11. My feeling exactly and, if it’s going in a bag or pocket it will be far clumsier than a card.
  12. I have never had any of the problems you mention about cards, except occasionally having to search a moment in my handbag. But a wristband, made of what? Something sweaty and unpleasant? The medallion, what ever that may be, possibly catching in one’s clothes, or disappearing under several layers on a cold day, or getting entangled with my watch. I do wear a watch, which has some of the above problems, but never wear bracelets for the reasons above. Smart phones won’t do, because a number of passengers don’t have them. Perhaps we should go back to actual keys.
  13. It was certainly possible last summer, as a form appeared in our cabin.
  14. There doesn’t have to be a theme. But, if there is, surely they should let you know before you board.
  15. Have they stopped putting umbrellas in Q cabins?
  16. I’d hardly say wonderful, but it looks OK, which is the most I’d ever aspire to. And just in case anyone is wondering about my ability to get in to it, it is loose fitting. 🙂
  17. I don’t think the dress code says anything about age. As someone who still wears a dress I bought for my first voyage in 1997, I am very grateful for this. 🙂
  18. It is always wise to be well prepared in advance, but I can’t imagine, unless you are an extremely annoying person, there would ever be a lack of volunteers to join you on a Cunard voyage.🙂
  19. I always wondered what a dress shirt is. Thank you.
  20. Incidentally, if you are going to the fjords, even in summer, it can be pretty cold (and wet). He may have problems other than in the ship’s dining rooms, if he is hoping for shorts. I don’t think the Lido does the same dishes as the restaurants, but I’m sure they’ll have reasonable choices.

Again do they? Is it actually possible to put a life jacket on upside down? But the two things are not really comparable. You are likely to remember a route you took a few days ago more easily than a task your last performed several months ago.

Many? Really? I’ve never encountered anyone. But all I say is it makes it a little more likely. Most people find doing something the second time easier than doing it the first time. It is why exam. practice works.
