Oh this will be interesting!:eek: I found the Paralegal cruise, but couldn't find the radio personality details. Where did you see that?

I wanted to know if any recent cruisers on the Freedom know if the ship stayed on EST or changed to island time? I recently learned that St. Kitts, St. Maarten, etc do not follow Daylight Savings Time and before booking tours I want to verify which time we'll follow.

Check to see if there is a Vino Volo in Newark Airport. This is a new type of wine bar I've seen in several airports the past few years. Besides wine to drink you can also buy an assortment of wine to take away (and the prices weren't bad).

Don't know if you can buy wine in Duty Free. You can buy hard liquor, but I'm not seeing wine on the list for duty free.

 

Liquor, wine, and beer can only be sold in licensed "liquor" stores in NJ. You can't buy it in the supermarket or corner store. The airport area is huge with no nearby residential areas and therefore no nearby liquor stores.

Well bummer!

What about the Duty Free shop at Newark Airport? I'm flying in Thursday and that's what my plan was.

Did you use any private guides for tours?

Take the 25-30 minute drive west to Dunedin. Great downtown with shops and restaurants. Yes it's my town, but biased? Never!

I'm also on the 9/22 sailing. All our dinner reservations are made. Booked IFly and puzzle room but not NorthStar. I keep checking daily. As for going standby, if I want to wait in lines I'll go to Disney World.

Did you book the puzzle through the Cruise Planner? I thought you had to book when onboard.

If your cruise embarks and disembarks from a US port but has stops in Canada do you have to go through immigration at your first Canadian port?

I would definitely book if the Black Card status match included the freebie cocktails. But maybe with an OBC incentive.....

Can someone tell me if this is a true statement please?

My parents booked an October cruise while onboard in January. They used the OBC instantly on that cruise. While looking at the pricing today for the October cruise, with the 'free gratuity' promo, they could move to a different category balcony for cheaper than what they paid in January.

My mom called the rep and was told they would lose their reservation deposit ($150) if changed cabins.

I don't get why?!

From what I have heard, the changes are coming in May. That carrot might even

be further up in numbers by then. I hope not, but that is the rumor so far. :(

Oh no!! I am booking a 4 night cruise in November just so I make D+ after my January cruise. :eek::mad:

Phoned crown and anchor and got told the end of April for Europe sailings being released. Don't think they've got a clue what's going on!
