  1. Does anyone have any Dailies that give the Sea Day Bar opening times? We have 5 sea days on our cruise next year, and are trying to organise a "Pub Crawl" during one of them. Just wondering the best "route" to take. This will depend very much on opening times.

  2. A difficult question. There are many, many threads about Dress Code, and many, unfortunately, get very heated! Evening Chic nights really allow guests to make their own mind up. Some still wear tuxes, some don't. My DH always does, but our travelling companions do not. The good thing is, you can do as you please, and not feel out of place.

  3. Normally cruise with Celebrity but after a lovely Ventura cruise last year, we are on Azura for a week at Easter. Do P&O now offer Drink Packages, apart from the wine ones? Love the Premium Package on Celebrity.

  4. So if half the tables in Luminae were nightly asking for their individual concoctions (grilled hummingbird wings simmered in pomegranate sauce and flamed tableside) the Maitre D would have a valid point.

Oh, I hate pomegranate with hummingbird. Much better with Puffin!

  5. I am a massive S-Class fan - as you know Phil - but agree that in some venues the music is way too loud. The ships are big enough to find a quiet spot though, although this may not be in one of the main areas, where you want to be. Four years ago, my husband and I were invited to a Passenger Forum, whilst on Eclipse, to give our views on the S-Class experience. We, and many others, spoke at length about the loud music and were told that it was a Miami Corporate decision, and that the individual areas on ship were not "allowed" to change it. Nothing has changed and there are many, many threads on this issue on CC.

  6. As a devoted Pastafarian, Celebrity thankfully provides enthusiastic support of my worship needs, most specifically with their offerings in the Tuscan Grille but also randomly at other establishments on every single day of the year. This level of care is very important for the annual Pastover meal. Most don’t realize that Celebrity converted the bistro to Sushi on 5 specifically in support of the holy month of Ramendan. Considering the company’s ties to the sea, this should not come as a surprise to devout believers, but they are to be commended highly for their enthusiastic and unwavering devotion to the One who boiled for our sins.

I think I love you. Sooooo funny. Great attitude.

  7. Mainly cruise with Celebrity but an on Azura April 2017 for an Easter cruise. Looking forward to it.

Can any of you experienced P&O cruisers tell me how to pre-order drinks (wine) package. I have looked in my cruise personaliser but cannot find anywhere to book it.

Any other P&O advice will be appreciated. Over 30 cruises but only 2nd P&O. Thanks.

  8. And wine tastings, martini tastings, afternoon tea, cruise critic activities - we had great fun on a cabin crawl and a poker run with a drink in each bar! We were never bored. Cafe el Bacio was a real social hub in the mornings. We had leisurely lunches, a walk on deck, took in a film, met friends for coffee/wine. Always found something to do. And the 2 decks of shops too!! Great lectures by ship officers as well.

  9. Try not to worry. On our July Equinox cruise we booked a GTY balcony and I was checking everyday and nothing. Four days before the cruise we got a Concierge cabin. Our TA said it was a good thing to be allocated late. Hopefully it will be the same for you.

  10. We have cruised the Baltic 3 times already and are booked on Eclipse again for 16 July 2017. We have had mixed weather. Some hot sunny days and some wet and windy ones, but there is lots to do on the ship. We met our best friends on a Celebrity ship at the LGBT meeting. In those days it was called FOD, so we went along to see what it was! There are many many different age groups on Celebrity and everyone is welcomed and the crew are great. The Baltic cruises do not seem to attract as many children as Med ones. Ports are not as suitable. We are a married couple with no kids (on purpose!!) and have never really noticed many children on the Baltic cruises. You'll have an amazing time, don't worry.
