the only machine in the casino that pays out is the ATM, that is the secret.
I partiality agree with this statement. A few days before I receive my social security check, the ATM can be "as tight", as a slot machine.😬😢!!!

Not sure about craps, but the land casino I go to play the slots, it takes $2.50=1 point. (and one doesn't earn points on promotional free play). I don't know if this is the same formula, they use on the cruise ships?) I do know the secret of the casinos, is that there is a winner every time=the house 99% of the time.😯!!!! Happy cruising and good luck!

Good morning, funny how the small things can make you excited these days. LOL.......checking my bank account and they already cashed my check😃. AND under status, the renewal is now in process!
That's great news! 20 bucks is 20 bucks!😃

I just read a news article, that next week (12-27-21), the prices for a new or renewed passport is going up $20.00.

Thanks Ashland, and rkacruiser for your feedback-will keep checking other cabins, as possibilities.

I have a cruise booked for next summer on the Freedom. The cabin# is 9196, and is forward. I didn't notice when I picked out the cabin, that it was a connecting one. When I called my pvp to book the cabin, she did point this out to me, and I told her I didn't mind. There were no other cabins available for the location I wanted. My question is will I hear much noise from my neighbors? (ie:loud t.v., voices, etc.), and vice versa. Maybe I should consider changing cabins?

I am receiving daily emails telling me I can get COVID test at the cruise terminal for $100 per person.
Wow! You really are a VIFP!😉😮!!!!!!!

To the O.P. I have to agree with the previous posters: There's so much to see and do, in Seattle and the surrounding area. Mt. Rainier is very impressive to see from the city, especially at sunset, when it "turns pink" ie: the alpenglow🗻.

Following you on all your cruises, and living vicariously thru you! I did this excursion 10 years ago, and it was one of the best excursions, ever. The ruins were spectacular-especially, from the top! Enjoy!

I do understand obsessive tendencies, and feel your pain!😉. I have them, too. That is so frustrating re: your search.
Also, no soup for you as well! 😇

We recently sailed on a free cruise casino offer. There is a line item on the invoice for "Taxes, Fees, Port Expenses, and Fuel Supplement" which in our case was a grand total of $270 for 2 people (4 night cruise, visiting 2 ports) and that is all we were charged (except gratuities of course). And we had a bit of on-board credit that reduced that slightly,
Fuel supplement? I hope not. I know oil prices have been over $70.00, and $80.00 a barrel lately. (I know I had to pay it in 2007- even after the cruise was fully paid for😡)

There is no propulsion issue...I just got off a few days ago
I think the O.P. .is talking about the Radiance, and not the Panorama.. As always, happy cruising!

I did a partial transit on a different Carnival ship a few years ago, and it was great. Freedom does full transit on a repositioning cruise 2 times a year. . I have been considering doing this, as a back 2 back next year. ie:Seattle to Alaska (RT) then Seattle to Miami.. I'd have to fly to Seattle from AZ and fly back from Miami. Happy cruising!

What can I say? I'm just a simple country boy.
Me too! You can take the boy out of the country, but you can't the country out of the boy!🐑🐂🐓🐔!!!

I've sailed the Miracle, several times, but not to Alaska. I have sailed 2 of her sister ships to Alaska, on the Spirit, and on the Legend. I love this class of ship-less crowded, and easy to maneuver. That being said, I booked the Freedom for next August to Alaska, for 2 reasons: 1). I wanted to try a new ship, and 2) I opted for the "shorter"cruise, out of Seattle, versus the "longer" cruise, out of S.F. Which ever ship the O.P. chooses, it'll be the right one-it's Alaska!😁🗻!!!

I take the bonine every a.m., as it doesn't make me sleepy. I also take ginger capsules 3 times a day. . I am very prone to seasickness. . This combination works for me, and I've never had "any episodes" of sickness since. Happy cruising!

Well I don't carry a phone on a regular day. I also don't have pockets in most of my cruise clothes. So I imagine if you are used to carrying a phone it isn't a big deal to you. It just comes as second nature. I don't so it is a pain to me.
I'm so glad I don't have to carry my landline around! I can't even text on it!😬!!! If anyone even remembers/ knows who Captain Kangaroo is, I don't think he'd even have big enough pockets!😯😉!!!!

I join you as one of the last people without a cellphone.
Wow-3 of us! There are times, when I could have benefited from having one-ie: once when arriving at an airport, I needed to borrow a phone so I could call my friends that I needed a ride - no more phone booths).

I don't have a cell phone, and do not want one and I'm not buying one just to use on a cruise.
I'll survive!
Fun Times are available at Guest Services and Menus are posted. Don't really need to know much else on board.
Amen!. 😇 And here I thought I was the last person in the universe, who didn't have/want a cell phone! Good to know I (still) won't need one...

IMO
Take a modest reduction in the price of the excursion (or offer an add on alternative)
and it would be worthwhile to at least get a glimpse of the interior of Alaska off the
beaten path of the George Parks Highway.
"Pretty Rocks" is well named after the Polychrome Overlook - sadly the narrow roadway at
that point doesn't permit an easy turn around for tour buses/vehicles but there is a good
chance of seeing some wild life animals during the 40 miles up to that point.
Perhaps the main thing "IS THE MOUNTAIN OUT" the 30% chance to see Mt. Denali
from a much closer view than the Alaska Railroad or GP Highway.
Which means that more than one trip to Alaska maybe necessary and in this case YES !
I agree with you 100%! In the mid 80's, I had the opportunity, and privilege to live/work at Denali, just outside the park. On my days off, I would go hiking and/or camping in the park. It was a long day trip to get to Wonder Lake ,which was at the end of the road-the best place to see Denali-when "the mountain was out". It was more often, than not, under a blanket of clouds. That being said, even going part of the way is worth it. .There are also scenic flight tours/glacier landings , for one to consider.

This forum is dedicated to the Royal Carribean product. I think the forum you are looking for is West Coast Departures. Cheers.

I am confused. I thought I was reading the West coast departures, unless the moderators moved it?! (I never read the R.C. product). Happy cruising!

Nope, US dollars.
Also, the soda is served as a can, but they give you a cup of ice for it "on the rocks."

I got my temp toof. It was a little more involved than I thought. They had to do some adjusting. I was there for an hour. This is basically what it is. Except this on is for #9 and mine is #8.

I got my 1st flipper, when I was in 5th grade. I knocked out my 2 front teeth, on the ice at school during recess, and they were my adult teeth.😢 Hope you get your tooth issue resolved, so you can enjoy your upcoming cruise. Happy cruising!😁

Reports from Carnival Panorama
in Carnival Cruise Lines

I feel the passengers disappointment and pain. I would think their port taxes and fees would be refunded, for what it's worth.
