We are booked on the Beyond in the fall. On our last cruise on Edge, we had the basic drink package. It included the simple wine and drinks that we usually drink, so the HH menu will be fine for us too, I'm sure. We are planning to only use our Elite HH benefit this time and pay for drinks outside of that time frame. Our pattern on the Edge was to have drinks and listen to music in the Martini Bar before the production show, go to the show, and then have a late dinner. I have read mixed messages on this forum as to whether the Elite HH is available in the Martini Bar. This is a big deal to us since that's where we went every night during those hours. Can someone recently off the Beyond (or another Edge-class ship) report whether they were able to get HH drinks in the Martini Bar?

Coco Beach Club Prices - Oh, My!
handbellplayer replied to handbellplayer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
This is the OP returning. The above is exactly what we experienced in early November. Fortunately we were on a B2B and had much better weather the second week. I felt badly for those on the first leg of the trip. For those blaming high prices on the ship class - we are on Adventure. -
Coco Beach Club Prices - Oh, My!

And its still not worth the price, unless you can eat your weight in lobster! -
We have been to St. Thomas numerous times and have no desire to do anything else on the island. Can anyone recommend a sailing excursion (preferably with food and drinks included)?

We reserved the Beach Club on our first post-COVID cruise as a treat to ourselves for about $80./pp. It was barely worth that, in my opinion. On our upcoming Adventure cruise in May, it is priced at $337/pp. When I told my husband, he asked, "Have they added hookers of something?" 😀

I am the OP returning. I'm not sure what I expected from the D concierge. To clarify - the lounge was not particularly crowded - this was a 4+5=9 B2B for us, so there were probably very few Pins or even Ds and above (we are D+). I was just taken aback by the entitled attitude of the one guy. I would never have reported the DC because he was such an attentive and engaging young man. I actually felt sorry for him being put in that awkward position. Also to clarify - we generally use our vouchers rather than frequent the D lounge, especially on Oasis class. We just like the views on this class of ship. I have enjoyed all of your responses.

On our recent Mariner cruise, the D concierge asked for our cards the first night to verify our status. He didn't ask again and he was a wonderful host. We normally don't frequent the D lounge, but the views on this call of ship make a pleasant place for a pre-dinner drink. On the third (or so) night, the concierge approached a group of four (two couples) and asked to see their cards. One of the men showed his and when he asked the other couple, the first man said loudly, "They are my guests!" The concierge just nodded and walked away. I know there is a fine line for the between enforcing the rules and causing a scene, but we were a little offended that he let it go so easily when we have earned our status and this guy acted so entitled. What do you think?

Hotel w/ shuttle and extended parking?

We stay at the Radisson at the Port. They offer secure parking and a shuttle. -
I should have said Port Everglades, not FLL. It worked fine until we got to the port.

In our experience, not very well. On our last cruise, it showed one of our tags (that was in our cabin) as still in FLL for the whole cruise.

Specialty restaurants open on boarding day?

When we've had the UDP (we've only done it on Oasis class), we've always had lunch in Chops on embarkation day. -
Check-In Time for Second Leg of B2B
handbellplayer replied to handbellplayer's topic in Royal Caribbean International
What a good idea - I will go back and edit my check-in to change to a later time. -
I have checked in for both legs of our B2B in November. I assume the arrival time assigned for the second leg is meaningless, correct?

Ice Show Reservations

Since you hijacked my thread to talk about Cats, here's my take. You either love it or you hate it. I used to love it, but after one land performance and several at sea, I'm done.
