  1. Royal's site never did show all available staterooms. I believe they limited it to about 15 per category. You can try the UK site which shows many more available staterooms: http://www.royalcaribbean.co.uk.

Bob - I know they never showed all of the available staterooms, but (unless I'm doing something wrong) they only show ONE - the one they choose for you.

Thanks for the link to to the UK site - don't understand why they get a capability that they took away from us!

  2. I am so frustrated with trying to find available cabins on the "new and improved" RCCL site. I decided to use a couple of other on-line travel sites to find possible cabins before I try to book on RCCL. I'm interested in the Freedom departing May 1, 2016, but it only shows on the RCCL site. Any ideas as to why no one else lists it?

Or - has anyone else figured out how to see all available cabins on the RCCL site?

  3. There was a long thread about this a couple of months back, but I didn't pay much attention. DH said something last night about logging on for a few minutes each day on our upcoming cruises and jogged my memory.

So, there's no longer any pplan that allows you to buy minutes and spread them across several days? It's a whole day at a time or nothing? That really stinks.

(We are on Enchantment and Serenade, if that matters.)

  4. Lynne & I are cruising on the Serenades of The Seas on November 23rd of this year. We will travel to Ft Lauderdale from Bradenton, FL the night before and stay at someone's hotel. We are hoping for a package which allows us to park the car for the duration of the cruise, get a ride to the cruise (and hotel return) along for a one night stay at the hotel. Any ideas?

    Jim

We are taking the 11-day Serenade cruise 11/2 and we're staying at the Fairfield Inn and Suites in Dania Beach. You can leave your car there up to 14 nights, I believe. I don't remember about a port shuttle, but most FLL hotels don't have free ones. A cab to the port isn't very expensive, though.

  5. I was just looking through some recent Compasses and it seems that Jazz on 4 has pretty limited hours.

    Listed times:

    Day 1&2 10:00-late

    Day 3 9:30-late

    Day 4 7:30-8:30

    Day 5 9:15-late

    Day 6 7:30-late 3 acts

    Day 7 9:00-late

Looks like day 6 has the most expanded schedule with some of the Cats ensemble making an appearance, in addition to the quartet a little later.

Does Oasis really not make use of this space at other times?

Would I be wasting my time checking it earlier in the afternoon?

By the Way, anyone know what "late" typically is?

Or maybe the Compasses are only listing when the acts are playing and it is actually open earlier in the day?

I haven't been on Oasis, but we went to the jazz club on Allure last Spetember several times. I don't remember that it was even open as much as you listed above. We had a great time when we were there, but the audiences were VERY small (sometimes just us and another couple). The poor attendance was very disappointing and I'm sure it was for the performers. They seemed to have a standard trio of musicians with various singers - a couple of times the singers from Chicago. All very good.

I expect they say "late" so that they can close up when the audience dwindles.

  6. I'm trying to do online check in for my paid in full cruise on 9/12/15. When I get to the set up onboard account page I put in my credit card information but even when I scroll all the way through the box with Please Read and Accept Credit Card Information....it will not pop up the I have read and accept button. The only button it will allow me to click is the exit button.

Is anyone else having a problem with this today? Is it likely to be a weekend glitch thing? I called Royal and the guy I got just had me scroll the bar up and down the Please Read box and that didn't work....

I've had problems with checking in using Chrome. IE worked for me. Try another browser.

  7. Just to clarify...

Do you mean like a cake pop where it's a little round bit of cheesecake on a stick? (YUM!)

Or do you literally mean a lollipop like a Dum-Dum or the like? (Sounds disgusting.)

I never ate one, but it was more like the first thing you said - like a cylinder of cheescake on a stick dipped in some sort of white chocolate or frosting.

  8. We loved so many things when we sailed on Allure last year. The entertainment, the neighborhoods, the amazing food choices, etc. Believe it or not, two of DH's favorite things were the Dog House and the cheescake lollipops! I know we won't have a Dog House on our upcoming Enchantment or Serendade cruises, but I've heard that the lollipops are starting to show up on other ships. Can anyone who's travelled on Enchantment or Serenade remember whether they served them and where?

I won't promise him - I'll just let it be a nice surprise!
