Let's not turn this thread into Sconegate please! Sunloungers were a more reasonable 12€ for 2 today, not as comfortable as Corsica but fine for a few hours. The sand was very soft and the lemonade and custard tarts were a perfect snack lunch. -

It's a beautiful morning in Lisbon and after a rather long walk from ship to bus we're on our way to Estoril. -

We went to the World Club party in the Pavilion, it was lovely to have it in the open air just after sunset. We'd both pre-ordered from the a la carte menu and I had the pate from the a la carte as well. It was Crepes Suzette night so need to choose anything from the Daily Menu. We went to the Queens Room to watch the dancing for a while and then to the theatre for the second show from the Australian acrobats/jugglers. -

Another sunny, lazy sea day. I missed breakfast, Mr HH brought me muffins to keep me going. We had lunch in the dining room and pre-ordered a la carte for dinner. He went to do badly in the Black Jack tournament and I went briefly to the Pavilion pool area and then to the terrace area behind the Commodore Club to watch the sail by Gibraltar. -

No blankets required on this trip fortunately so just pool towels in the cabin. Gala night dinner was as good as it sounded, although Mr HH ordered the shortbread after being warned off it and it wasn't the best choice. I had stuck with souffle, after being missing completely on QM2 last year they have been on every formal night menu so far. We went up to the Commodore Club to listen to the duo Amethyst and then to the theatre which was packed for the Queens of Rhythm. We went out onto the Promenade Deck to see the Supermoon and realised we'd have a better view from our balcony. It was still a pleasantly warm evening.- 333 replies

Once we were dressed for dinner we went to the Carinthia Lounge for a glass of champagne and a good view of the photographer at work. Lots of red dresses and bow ties, a few gold as well as accessories. The air conditioning is a bit fierce in there but the views are lovely and there's no problem getting a table. -

I can confirm that Cunard Street refers to seven Commodore cocktails. -

I know people must think we're missing out on all the things going on and staying on the ship in Barcelona and Civitavecchia but honestly I've had such a nightmare year that reading a book and watching the waves is enough.- 333 replies

I've seen it before but I might go after lunch as we're at the not bothering with breakfast stage of the cruise. As long as there are proper chairs available not the extras they bring out when it's busy. I hope they've got some better ones on order. -

It's also to restrict numbers, Mr HH did it on Queen Elizabeth a few years ago. I thought he'd got lost he was gone so long ! -

Good morning from Queen Anne, lots of things for us to ignore today. Mr HH has archery this afternoon and the sun is on the balcony. -

Another good dinner, we now have 3 bottles of wine on the go and our waiter was expressing opinions about whether my choice of dessert would go with the Sauternes 😂. We're currently watching the dancing in the Queens Room. -

It was a beautiful evening for sailaway from Livorno, lots of impressive boats including Philip Green's. -

We were almost the last on board and would have been on the ship at least 5 minutes sooner if they'd kept the midship gangway open rather than closing it just as our coach arrived. 🤦♀️. Two sea days to Lisbon now. -

I sat next to people on the excursion who were very pleased with the food and service in the Britannia restaurant. And walked into the wine tasting area behind someone who said it was her first cruise and her last. I sat at the opposite end of the table .....
