Would love to if the Princess guidelines allowed.
Amazing how the rules differ among cruise lines.
Only makes me more hopeful that another change from Princess is coming soon.

Edited to add: I won't go so far as to call it stupid as I do have some dignity when speaking of what I entertained myself in yesterdays 🤪
I can relate. Re - watching some shows I watched decades ago that I thought were great but now seem so stupid. They are obviously not the ones who have changed.

On Greece... I got an actual Princess rep in USA and not off-shore. She was running it by a supervisor, so it least it got escalated, but then my call dropped or somehow missed her coming back.
Waiting to hear what you find out. As of Tuesday it looks like tests prior tp boarding still required. Hoping for a change soon.

I presume and hope that they are done filming on the Regal. We sail in September.

Looks like they just updated it again to say UK but not EU: Unless otherwise communicated, all guests ages five and older must take a viral COVID-19 test (PCR or antigen) within three days prior to embarkation on the ship. This can be done at any time in the three days before on the day of embarkation. Guests no longer need to provide a test certificate, however they will be asked to confirm that the test has been taken, with a negative result, as part of the pre-boarding health declaration at the cruise terminal/airport. Guests under five years of age are exempt from pre-cruise testing. (Please note that these updated guidelines apply to the UK but not to the U.S., Canada or EU).
Yes I just saw that. I now wonder if it was an editorial mistake to begin with? Or something changed since yesterday.

It is what it is, but I wonder why this is just for UK departures? Those cruises also visit EU ports. I guess we wait for the next update to see what happens next.
ETA: Maybe it's a test market.
Yup, give it a minute things will change again.

There seems to be conflicting information on the website. One page says the test no longer needs to be supervised for UK and EU. The ‘sailing from Europe’ page still states a supervised test. We board on Saturday from Barcelona. I hope this is clarified soon. Villa UK - how are you? Long time no see!
Dang. They changed the UK site to exclude the EU now. Not the direction I wanted.

HELP! What to do? Lol
i sail Friday (U.K. enchanted)
I have video tests booked for the adults in the next two days and in person for my Unvax kid.
what should I do?
Up to you. If you can't cancel the video test with a refund or just want the added peace of mind, you could just complete the video tests as planned. They are not saying it can't be proctored. You could still fill out the attestation.

The testing procedure must include a telehealth service affiliated with the manufacturer of the test
Interesting 🤔 Depends on what affiliated means. Wound this exclude the proctoring services like onpoint that except any FDA approved test? More conflicting information. This is a total mess! Just eliminate all pre-cruise testing and be done with this crap.

Unfortunately conflicting information is the new normal for Princess. When I follow the health and safety links on the personalizer for our upcoming cruise next month it still shows the June 24th updates.

Even for dumbbells 😉?

Here's another one that uses the tests you already have https://onpoint-testing.com/product/certified-teleservice-covid-testing/
Do you (or anyone) have experience with this one? Our at home tests are not ihealth ones. So onpoint or rapidtestandtrace.com might be our go to. They both say any FDA approved one.

Odd question, but I'm sure someone here will know. Do the fitness centers have lighter free weights, specifically 3lb? DW will need to continue some rehab and we don't want to pack that.

It's tucked away under the "Payment" tab for each cruise booking and all the way to the bottom.
That has been the case, however I have not seen ours for our cruise next month even though I submitted it several times. The last time was in early July. I called Princess and was assured that it has been applied. I asked why it wasn't showing on the personalizer and she said we are having some issues updating things. That was last week and still not showing there.

Thanks to fellow CC folks and after struggling to FIND the "chat " feature.....I found it yesterday ! used it regarding a deposit issue.
It was a great! Absolutely wonderful experience.and I had a great princess representative.
I would suggest to Princess that the dont bury the feature at the bottom of the page in a tiny box.
Maybe why it works. If more could find it, it might get overwhelmed also. 😉

The one thing I recall most about Loreto was the heat. I don't think I saw the time of year you are going but stay hydrated and wear a sun hat.

Isn't the reason for them being very low the same reason you SHOULDN'T buy any?
Depends, does your crystal ball say recovery or bankruptcy? "Kicking a dead horse" or "what doesn't kill you , makes you stronger"? Only time will tell.

The Regal is showing three separate sailings for the same date, a 7 day, a 14 day and a 21 day for 9/10. All of those are showing unavailable. That’s probably why. I’ve never seen that before.
Princess needs to figure out which one to go with.
Yes, the med sailings are sold each way as 7, 14 or 21day.

Hmmm. It's there, just shows "currently unavailable". Don't know why it would be that way for 3 weeks.
Our sept 10 Regal shows the same thing. Not sure how long, but it has been at least a week now.

Interesting to note that P&O (UK) are doing away with monitored testing from July 24th.
All you have to do now is take a self administered test within 48 hours of departure, and declare that you tested negative on the pre-cruise medical questionnaire.
No evidence is required.
The rationale from P&O is that whilst Covid is still rife, the actual symptoms in the vast majority of cases are so mild that a reduced testing protocol is in order.
Because they know they can trust people not to lie 😉.

To get those on the fence to fall their direction.
