I also follow several VV FB groups. Supposedly VV was supposed to release the remainder of 2024 sailings and 2025 today. Rumors were also that Brilliant Lady's cruises after April 20, 2024 would also be covered including the Transatlantic on 4/20/2024.

Wow I hadn't heard about Celebrity. I bet that is going to be a nightmare. I have even been using different browsers, going back and forth between my two laptops and work computer (don't judge me 😏and constantly clearing my cache and cookies. Just keep hoping.

Here we are on August 24th and still nothing. Brilliant still doesn't show up after the 20th of April. They aren't rolling out any new promos to speak of, so maybe tomorrow. Who knows.

Well so far no changes. Brilliant Lady is still MIA. This is beyond frustrating.

Here is a picture of how the bed looks when made up for two people. You can have the bed along the wall left with out bedding to use as a couch.

That is no problem at all. I am thinking about doing the same thing on my cruise in December.

When I was on Scarlet back in December of 2021 the internet wasn't the fastest but I was able to do my payroll without any issues. I could keep up with work emails and any of the other things that I had to do. Fast forward to two cruises I did on Princess. Once with their paid internet and this last time with what was included in their package and neither time could I stay on long enough to get through doing payroll. And their internet isn't cheap. I went into port and found a Starbucks in order to at least get payroll done. It was a nightmare and then having to deal with emails from work as to why aren't you replying. I have Starlink at my home and it is amazing. Way better then the previous satellite internet I had. But my home isn't bouncing around like a cork in a bucket of water. The thing is, that with the number of Starlink satellites that are up there in low orbit you may encounter a short lag between pick up but it isn't by very much and since they are in low orbit the speed up and back isn't even noticeable. I remember when I first cruised and OMG the cost was prohibitive for WiFi on a ship. Kind of like the package of 70 minutes for $150 for my first cell phone. So times change and things improve. If you like waiting till you are in a port to use your hotspot great. I don't.

When I was on there back in 2021 my friend and I took the mattress (if you want to call it that) off and investigated the whole set up. The "head" of the bed is on a pivot point that is anchored in the frame work. What I envisioned, after looking at it, was if they made the pivot point with a slot that could be pinned to secure it, they could pivot it and slide it down a bit to separate the beds more. It would mean moving the chair over but it would also allow a small area between the beds so it could be used for the person in that pivoted bed.

I have two since I did a back to back. I would love to be able to reuse them.

I just saw those. If I didn't already have plans to be in New Orleans in October and then Scarlet in December I would be looking at those. Of course I could change my mind since I love Halloween.

I was just trying to find these ports and I have been having no luck finding Brilliant Lady there. Could you share what site(s) you found them on? I'm just trying to put together an idea of what a cruise might look like so I could start thinking about asking the usually "absolutely no" question for time off during the summer.

I agree on the beds in the standard staterooms not being comfortable. They didn't have any kind of topper when I was on the last time so my steward took a couple of the comforters and folded them up and put them on. They helped but still wasn't really comfy. But then I sleep on memory foam at home so I am biased.

It is one of the most stupid moves that Princess could make. And they are touting it as the best deal out there. What you take away from those folks who don't do a drink package just to make the other packages look like a deal. And never mind they way Elites are handled any more. Virgin is the best.

This is very interesting. Now I am really interested in seeing what other ports could be between 4/28 and 5/8. She isn't showing in Casablanca or Marrakesh. I'm not finding her in Southampton, Cherbourg or Le Havre either. Just trying to plot an ending destination based on what is showing.

Right after it vanished it was showing in those ports. And now it's gone! My friends that were going to go with me definitely aren't now that they have also booked excursions on the Princess cruise that is 16 days. So it is down to me going. Oh well - if it does show back up I know I will be in good company. If by chance it does go through the Panama Canal might it be another TA back from Lisbon? Now that would be a cool B2B. My boss would shoot me!!!

So now it is the end of August. Well, I won't be holding my breath.

The answer of "soon" is getting old. I keep reaching out to them and I can give the reply in my sleep now.

Well darn. The travel agent I know told me that he had moved over to NCL. I was all hopeful that Princess would improve. Guess not.

You did hear John Padgett is with NCL didn't you. They are "loving" him, but the honeymoon period glow is still there. I'm hoping Virgin gets their act together pretty soon. I just talked with one of the folks and they said if Virgin gets it listed they would consider cancelling and booking with Virgin.

Well darn! The friends who were going to go with me on this cruise got tired of waiting and booked one very similar on Princess. I hope that if this cruise happens that the fare is reasonable for a single.

Congratulations on your anniversary next year!! My late husband and I celebrated a couple of birthdays and anniversaries in suites on Princess, Norwegian and Celebrity. It is always a nice touch and I hope that Virgin treats you to a really special anniversary.

Every time I reach out any more I ask if it is still in inventory maintenance. That way if I get a newbie they go to a supervisor to check..

So I had to reach out to Virgin about a vanishing MNVV credit that I had and decided to ask once again what was going on. It took 5 hours to get the MNVV back on my account and the rep I spoke with said I was the 5th person in the last week to call about this TA. Each time she has to pass it on up higher since she doesn't have an answer. That doesn't sound like a lot but if one rep is getting calls like that I wonder what the rest are getting. Maybe we all need to call once a week and ask about it.
