Too busy selling the Anthem
-
One poster is correct in assuming they want to sell the Anthem as much as they can, the Adventure will not be as expensive.
No way is the Adventure leaving the UK not so soon after the Indie has been withdrawn.
-
Awesome!
Only on the young and slim methinks
-
Go on to the Meet and Mingle site for this cruise and sign up.
There are lots of us there and ask away.

When I was growing up in the 50's and 60's, they were called thongs NOT flip flops. I don't know when, who or why the name changed to flip flops but I will never call them that. To me, they will always be called thongs! :D
So what do you call ladies undies that look like Dental floss?

So Germany have an RCI office in the Netherlands whilst the UK is in Guatemala......crazy do they not know we are all part of the EU?
-
Use this in office hours 01932 834200
Thank you Jason but we manage RCI very well but do like to help others out where we can as I am sure you do.
Some of the info on the previous site you gave us have not been operational since Jan of this year as most of the RCI has gone to Guatemala for the UK market.
We will in future be booking onboard or looking for a travel agent.
The whole thing is becoming very conveluted and time consuming.
Heaven help us when the Anthem arrives here.

On the Serenade our waiter told us after their drydock/refit he now knows how to lay carpets.

Hi all
I live in USA but born in uk where my parents still live. If it is any help go to the USA official website and go to contact us page. There is now a USA number for international guests.
Hopefully this may prove to be more useful over time than calling Guatemala!
What ever we do the cost of phone call can be high
-
Had problems with the invoice for our next cruise and my SIL s too so guess what ...Guatemala here we go, they have not got a clue.
RCI are going to make us either book onboard our use a high street TA or cruise specialist.
I find this so sad as we have had such good service from using RCI direct in the UK.

When onboard also post on the Messages board usually near guest relations.
You will find messages on here from all sorts of groups and have seen them for Maj yong.
-
did the Concierge not help you with the problems you had? Or at least tell you how things have changed over the last few years.
-
The soft serve is not icecream but made with yogurt and is really nice.
Ordinary icecream is offered in the Dining room in evening and when open for lunch. Also in evening in Windjammer.
-
We too were disappointed at no special place for Breakfast on Serenade after using Portofino on Adventure which was excellant.
-
Some times the top decks are the first to be opened up and as these are where a lot of suites are you can get in sooner.
Have often wondered what happens if you have the Royal suite, as the concierge comes ashore to take you on board they must go straight to their suite methinks.
-
no good going to Guest relations anyway, you need to talk to the Loyalty Ambassador when you get onboard and see if they can help.
Know people that had it happen on one of our cruises.

I am another of those who take off all their rings when coming thro the door, I have a ring holder in the kitchen where they all live.
Would love to think I could have worn my wedding ring since it was put on my finger at my wedding ceremony but sadly as I do a lot of baking including my own bread the flour goes behind /underneath my ring and I get a dermititus rash, so easier to keep it off so it does not happen.
Hope the OP has some success in her quest.
-
Way too expensive when you factor in the airfare plus overnight stay, no thanks RCI

Off Topic.. but how's your weather holding up? My son is living in King's Lynn and the weather has been rough - quite the storm surge a month oro so ago.
I live in the NE of England and we have got off quite lightly compared with the SW where the flooding has been unbelievable, never stopped raining since Christmas in some parts then the storms last night with 100mph winds just made it worse.
but worry not our Prime Minister has told us he will fix everything for everyone.... yipee!!!

What are your thoughts of the Cruise Director, Mercedes? We take advantage of a lot of ship activities so the CD is very important. Another post I read said that she really doesn't have a great command of the English language which could be concerning unless her team handle most of the activities (trivia, Bingo, Love and Marriage, Quest, etc.)
We're on this cruise in 17 days so we're basically in a countdown mode.
have met Mercedes on more than one RC ship and she is great, her English is very good and she is full of fun, a really good CD.

They are trying to make prodedures like this illegal in the UK as there are so many problems that happen when non professionals try to do tthese procedures.
Only by an authentic Dentist please.
-
Another one who has had diet tonic in small bottles on more than one RCI ship.
-
Thank you for posting the info on2015, dont want to wish my life away as hope to do more cruises before then but its always interesting to see what lies ahead.
-
Most migrane sufferers don't experience migranes when on low-carb, high-fat diets, so you might want to consider cutting out carbs just before the cruise to reduce the likelyhood of this happening on your next cruise.
So you have suffered from Migraines for years and these diets have worked for you?
Wonderful news,
