How refreshing to enjoy a thread as much as I have this one.
Not a single piece of nastiness but just interesting stories from a wide variety of posters.
Thanks to OP and all the posters who came after you and told us some great stories. :)

We were on the Indie a few years back and my husband was talking to Emma the LA and she asked where I was when this gentleman asked if they were talking about and he said my maiden name so my husband said well that was her name til she married me.
Turns out we were at school together many many years ago and he had been in Australia for 34 years.
When they come back to the NE of England to visit relatives they pop in to see us, small world or what.

You don't, or look for a different cruise line that offers self serve facilities.
But - at least to me - more interestingly, why did you dig up a 5+ year old thread to comment on?
Much better to start a new one :D

I just got off Adventure and they had them. Although most would never see it as it was inside of a little box called "vitality kit" I think. It included a couple of q-tips, shower cap, cotton ball, and something else. All ships have that kit in the suites I'm sure. I doubt they make them special for only one ship so if you don't see the little rectangular white box just ask and I'm sure you will get one if its missing.
Well you were very fortunate as our last few cruises the shower cap was missing from the Vitality box, yes they should be there but as I have said not this last year.
Did ask and was given one for a 14 day cruise , needed more as they soon split.

Adventure has a great soft serve icecream machine on deck outside Portofino and when open always has a member of staff there to serve you.Good hygiene practice there.
Also a member of staff from Windjammer sometimes came with sundae dishes, had them filled then walked around Windjammer at lunch time for folks to have.

Very interesting and await the next episode.

Funny, because when I Googled it, for this discussion, the first listing was an Indian restaurant in Folsom, CA (which is fairly near to me and is NOT the prison). I doubt it was the same restaurant you saw, however!
How about you come to me and we try ours then I come to you and we can do a compare and contrast trivia of our own, could be a lot more fun :D

Actually not ... it was on my Honeymoon, about 13 years before the cruise. Like I said ... taking up valuable real estate amongst the memory cells ... :o
Back on topic:
Sometimes there are 2 correct answers that are completely different:
Question: What is the Star of India?
Cruise Line Answer: A Star Sapphire
Our Answer: A sailing ship and museum in the San Diego Harbor.
The Trivia Master agreed to Google it, and our answer was at the top.
Result: Both answers received credit (which was the correct decision)! :D
now here in the UK the Star of India comes up first as a Sapphire but the next one says its a good Indian restaraunt.

Wow envelopes are left for everyone to put money in for members of staff, Wow cards are given dockside at check in to D+ and you put your name and CA number on before giving them to your chosen member of staff.
I gave one to a wonderful young girl in the Spa who gave me a much needed haircut and she was overwhelmed but said no way was she going to turn it in but it was going in her Memory box as it was so special, wished I had 2 to give her.

Thank you for your well written and concise report on your cruise.
We have been on the Adventure many times and will be back for the TA to Southampton and you have brought back many happy memories of a wonderful ship and the Caribbean.
Keep going , looking forward to the next instalment.

Chill Pill anyone:)
Only if it gets rid of Norovirus

and my pet peeve is when the members of the activity staff cannot be bothered to ask different questions on following cruises speciallly when they know people are doing back to back.
And how many times does the same question come up during the same cruise when different staff do the Quizes.

GS has a bedroom door on Oasis/Allure? They don't on the Freedom class.
No but our last GS had a heavy curtain at the bottom of the bed that pulled right across so you could use the rest of the cabin whilst someone wanted to sleep.
-
Sorry OP but your very slight mistakes did make me laugh, I could be a glutton with a nice pizza
-
not cheats just lazy hosts that use old questions so people remember the answers, you can always tell when the activities staff have taken the trouble to get some new questions the scores are always much lower.
-
Hope you mean the Winter Olympics

not my fav location under these hot tubs, no sun for us on balcony and I could sometimes here the murmer when the tubs were activated, but as I have tinitus it helped rather than hindered

Do not know about rules for Honey in the USA but over here in UK they are very strict and do not allow it into the country because of the huge decline in our honeybees from various viruses.
We have a big ongoing save the Honeybees campaign at the moment.

We bring our Leatherman for geocaching. There are a lot of containers we need one of the tools to open it. And there is no vacation without geocaching. That's all. ;)
Exactly why we have a swiss army knife in our caching bag, went on ship OK in checked luggage but forgot when coming back onboard after Geocaching and sure enough it was confiscated, but at least they did return it as we left the ship.
Been out caching this morning and soon as I saw the knife set thought yes lets have a cruise :D

Try the Adventure of the Seas out of Southampton when the Captain is Henrik Sorenson who is Danish.
Might even get an invite to his table one night as I am sure he would love to meet some fellow Countrymen/women

it is amazing how many people get into the lifts and never see them anyway.
Someone mentions the day, they look and say Oh were did that come from
-
you cannot bring you own on board unless it is a French press style( no electricity. if the ship departs from Southampton all cabins will have a kettle. if not, only GS and up will.
milk is non dairy creamer, any milk milk must be gotten from RS or the Windjammer.
Or departs from Harwich UK

This is an awful hotel; I stayed here about a month ago for one night. LMT is sometimes too generous with their star ratings.
thank you for that comment.
certainly a no for us
-
Here is another way of telling the LMT hotel:
http://www.touricoholidays.com/en/PageHotelDetail.aspx?hotelId=1881&provider=localTgsProvider
Based on the link above, the text in bold red is the Hotel ID # found on LMT. If you look at the hotel on LMT, the HID is found at the very end of the web address once you click on the description of the hotel you want to see. Just copy the web address above and type in the HID you want to see.
thank you very much ,much appreciated
