  1. That’s great! It’s likely best to have a copy of the Canadian gov’t page (180 days) AND the HAL page (90 days). Since we were between the two numbers - we paid the $25 (for two tests) to ensure we didn’t get roped into expensive last minute tests…
  2. We're on a 14 day cruise that includes Kodiak, etc... that left Vancouver yesterday (Nieuw Amsterdam). Looking forward to it - but we're expecting to get wet!
  3. We're onboard the Nieuw Amsterdam now and the daily Happy Hour says "50% Off" from 4:00-5:00 in two bars. I'm planning to buy a six pack of beer for the fridge...
  4. Even though the Canadian Gov't says 180 days - HAL is still saying 90 days: "Exceptions may apply for asymptomatic guests who have tested positive for COVID-19 within 90 days of their embarkation if they are at least 10 days past their COVID-19 infection, are fully recovered with no symptoms and produce documentation of recovery from COVID-19 infection." From here, under "(Updated) I had COVID-19 and recovered but still test positive, will I be able to travel?" I'd love to use our 140 day old positive tests - but I don't think HAL will accept them.
  5. Thanks for the info. I'm *hoping* for "50% off" for our upcoming NA cruise!
  6. "50% off"? or "50% off the second drink"? We had the drink package during our April cruise, so didn't pay very close attention - but I thought Happy Hour on that cruise was "50% off the second drink". We don't have the drink package for our upcoming NA cruise - our plan is to use whatever Happy Hour specials are in place and buy a six bottle wine package (for a 14 day cruise) to use in the MDR.
  7. We usually book using a "big box store" agent as well - but have never seen the shareholder OBC added to our reservation. The only indication of it being added (before we embarked) was the email confirmation we received... In February - I think it took about 10 calendar days for the confirmation email to arrive.
  8. 18 days on Koningsdam in April - 3 Gala Nights, only the last one had lobster for no extra charge.
  9. On our recent 18 day cruise on the Koningsdam there were 3 Gala nights. The first two had non-lobster seafood available and shrimp cocktails for appetizers. The last one had filet mignon and lobster, for no additional charge.
