  1. No, Magnifica (Musica class) does not have Yacht Club. Any restricted areas would have been for Aurea class cabins. EM
  2. Cash is king. Don’t try to be cute. Their cabins are smaller than your and shared. They don’t need anything but money to send home. This is a very common question and the majority answer is always CASH. And don’t be cute with $2 bills. EM
  3. The MSC board here is located under Cruise Lines A-O. The Yacht Club is the ‘ship within a ship’ concept on MSC, limited to those who book it. Has its own pool, decks, restaurant and buffet…. EM
  4. You would only be charged for one. But the internet access is per device. EM
  5. The one you find at Walmart, Target, TJMaxx or the local Goodwill that fits your interior requirements and price. Many will recommend pricey luggage that will last generations. But if it does t suit you, it’s not a bargain. EM
  6. I would like to invite you to come over to the MSC board here and tell us about your cruise. So many people there only talk about the Yacht Club and make those of us in the rest of the ship feel like second class citizens. But 90% of guests are having a good time NOT in the Yacht Club. EM
  7. If you scroll back in the Look who’s in the canal thread you will see Mariner on Jan 11 and Grandeur on Jan 19. EM
  8. Saturday and Ruby Princess does a partial
  9. Welcome to Cruise Critic, but you are in the wrong part of the forums. This area is for members having trouble figuring out the forums. You should be asking your questions on the board here for Royal Caribbean, located under Cruise Lines P-Z. EM
  10. We know the smaller ships can fit under the bridge, because at the beginning of the shutdown several NCL ships were docked at the pier Carnival uses, as well as further up the river. EM
  11. I was invited as a B2B guest. EM
  12. She means the plug adapter. Most appliances/devices are dual voltage, they will say 110-240 v AC. No transformer needed. EM
  13. You are welcome. It’s unfortunate that this board is not as often visited as many others. If you have a question that is specific to a cruise line or ship, it is best to ask on that board. EM
  14. Friday is Groundhog Day in the US and we have Beyond doing a partial, and little Star Pride going westbound, followed by Firebird
  15. You will get answers if you ask on the board here for Cunard. Burying your question in an unrelated thread will not. Ask on the board here for NCL where more people will see it.
  16. Ask on the Florida Departures board. EM
  17. Wrong part of the forum. Try the Ports of Call for Asia, your roll call…. EM
  18. Chances are the port before Le Havre will be a Schengen port, as will many before that, so there would not be any immigration hangups. Open borders and all that. EM
  19. Gotta agree about Lume. I went 16 years with nothing working until I tried Lume. EM
  20. Ask on the Florida Departures board, under North American Homeports. EM
  21. I haven’t been on Seaview, but I have been on Seaside. The buffet on 16 is much less extensive than the one on 8. On 16 they only serve breakfast and lunch, no dinner. EM
  22. Let’s give thanks for ships that have good bridge cams. Today NCL Bliss is westbound
  23. I’m Elite on Celebrity, but didn’t cruise them from Jan 2020 until June 2023. I got my very first Power Up Points invite in Dec. I also travel solo now and the last time, last month, when I tried to price as a solo it was 2.5-3 times the double occ. rate. And the 75% off second guest offer was in effect. Didn’t apply to me. EM
  24. The MDR is not open for lunch every day. But the servers there do not get time off when it isn’t open. They work elsewhere. Many times I have seen my MDR waitstaff working lunch in the buffet. EM
