  1. Well that is unfortunate. I would have liked to bring a couple of bottles of wine to consume in my room, but does not make it worth it to pay $15.00 per bottle do to that. Oh well :(

It's a better deal than the wine on board.

A 15$ bottle will cost about 50$ on the ship. You're money ahead paying the corkage.

  2. Since you're paying 18% on your dinning package remember to get the form at customer service to remove the auto daily gratuity or you'll be double tipping. When I had this perk because of staying in a suite I tipped the cabin stewart in cash on the last day because he's not included in the food services tip.

For the OP--- read this post very carefully. Then it is easy to understand why taking this advice is a bad idea.

  3. Hello!

I've seen a lot of mention of the cocktails on the ships, but am having a hard time finding what beers the ships stock. Does anyone have a menu or list?

You will find dozens of American Light Lagers from all over the world.

There will be Guinness, Blue Moon's hefe, probably Boddington's and Bass Ale.

    And that's about it.

If you like the Light lagers you will be in heaven.

    If you're a beer geek......you'll want a mojito.

  4. Usually the uneducated beer drinkers think this.

The micro brew stuff is usually garbage that can never be reproduced. (and the bars are always closing down)

All the micro breweries that pop up in the US sell this bath tub beer and sucker folks into thinking its better that the beer that has been made for over 200 years not just in the US but in England, Ireland and other places.

I will take a real Guinness, Boddington, or Murphy over the imitations they come up with in a Micro Brewery. I will also take a miller or a Bud over there lager or pale ale.

This is a pantload of nonsense.

  5. I know two people who were kicked out of alcoholic halfway houses for drinking mouthwash, which is 20% alcohol. For some children it is their gateway drug (Charlie Harper). Just because it is not supposed to be a beverage, does not mean that it is not. Drinking mouthwash is a lot cheaper than buying alcohol on the ship. I had to ask three people before I got permission to bring the mouthwash on the ship. I got the idea that if duty free still had mouthwash I would not be given permission to bring my own in from the port. If they allowed it, can imagine people bringing huge bottles of supposed mouthwash on the ship, with a note from their dentist that they have halitosis.

No one with halitosis needs a note from a dentist to prove their case.
