They made it in Michigan where I used to live. It was ok not great tasted imitation euro to me.
Before crafts were a huge fad they were all over in Michigan the majority of them shut there doors because people did not want to pay 5 to 7 a pint for inferior products.
You do not want to know how these folks come up with new products I have seen it done. I will leave it to the proven and tried recipes.
I like shine which is home brewed most beer snobs would never touch it.
Like I said opinions
Give me a good Murphy's or Guinness over some ones science experiment any day.
What selections from Founder's are you chatting about?
Annnnnnnd, don't confuse a beer snob with a beer geek. The beer snob will want to pour his Coor's Light onto your feet.

Sorry I don't recall. Don't mistake 'decent' selection for craft beer. By decent I mean a few European labels like Pilsner Urquell etc.
I'm thinking that you mean they had a wide selection of American Light Lager. Which does not mean that it is an American beer.
-
People complain about the beer selection on the other NCL ships. The menus above are specifically available in one bar on the Escape. If they were on all ships then there wouldn't be as many complaints.
Yup.

I know founders was considered a micro brew not very tasty ]

You really should not be chatting about beer if this is your experience.
-
Beer has a quality shelf life of maybe 6 months. .
Not all beers are that way.
-
You use the phone and pay the bill.
You might want to get a second job to help pay the bill.
Or....................you shut the phone down and enjoy the cruise.
-
We will both have the UBP but I'm hoping that I can pick up a drink for both of us and bring them back to the room or where ever else we might be hanging out.
They aren't supposed to do that. Which doesn't mean that they won't.

Never, ever use a debit card for this.
This cannot be stressed enough.

You are correct sir! Further research has shown that the correct figures are .299999 glasses of fuzzy white wine per day and .000001 glasses of the real stuff.
Good catch!;)
And on Norwegian the figures are .29999999999999999 glasses of the fuzzy crap..........:)
Cutting fizzy white wine with orange juice makes it palatable.

Eh, not when it's spread out over the whole ship. That rate per day for a 3,000 passenger ship equates to 6,300 glasses of champagne served over a 7 day cruise. I've never purchased had a glass of champagne on a cruise. Usually see a lot more frozen or mixed drinks during the day and wine at dinner.

It didn't mention fizzy white wine, it mentioned champagne. I just don't think they are serving up that much champagne.

Then enjoy what you call swill on the other smaller, older NCL vessels that don't have as good a selection. If you don't cruise for the beer, then why preytel are you so upset about "the swill".

Because it's a poor selection of .... swill. It wouldn't be difficult for them to offer up some variety. The Escape proves the point.

You won't find craft beers, but there is a nice selection of beer available. As mentioned some is on tap, a lot is canned, and a few bottles. Anything around the pool will be in a can or a glass. Bottles you order around the pool are poured into cups.
It could charitably called a wide selection. It isn't a nice selection.

If you wish to avoid swill and enjoy craft beers, then all you need to do is cruise on the Escape and enjoy 24 different beers on tap and many craft beers in cans and bottles. And the majority of them are all covered by the UBP.

I don't cruise for the beer.
When they offer to pay me, I'll travel on the Escape. Not before then.

I know! The 'included' wine is pretty bad too.
A year ago there was one cabernet that didn't suck.
I know, that isn't a glowing review but it is way better than the LaTerre and the Tisdale that they had in the past. THAT was some vile stuff.
The beer list is just awful.

I am seriously doubting those stats on champagne.
-
Expect warm.
-
I have not heard of any keel-hauling, lynching, tossing overboard or stranding in port instances. They seem to be OK with paying passengers. I'm guessing you'll be fine.
-
I'm afraid all of us have wandered off topic.
Well, I know about scooters, I just don't know about Scooter's.
-
If you get there early enough you can do it.
Except, you won't be travelling on a trolley. They are streetcars and the locals are very serious about letting anyone know this.
-
If there is a cave tubing excursion available, I'd recommend that. It's a pretty long ride to the area so you see a lot of authentic Belize and the tubing is pretty cool.
Not from Harvest Cay.
-
Some bottles, some cans, some tap.
Almost all will be American Light Lager, predominately swill.
-
Are there any directions to Scooter's?
-
Ive asked my travel agent if we can even get off Harvest Caye to book our own excursion and she indicated she could not find anything. If anyone is able to confirm if/how to do so that would be great. We're on Oceania Marina and in Belize on February 5. Thank you!

Are you certain that you'll be stopping at Harvest Cay? It's a private venture by NCL.
If you are stopping at Harvest Cay they have you cornered.
-
At sea, you will be using the ship's cel tower, which doesn't involve AT&T.
It is a fine opportunity to shut the phone off and re-connect with the world.
Mileage may vary.
Pay with cash or credit cards....
