  1. I'll go with this. That is the Princess way. LOL
  2. This service is courtesy of the Port Of Seattle, not Princess provided and is called Port Valet I used it, but I had signed up in advance based on postings here. Good thing I did or I would never have known about it on the ship. Nothing on the ship but the regular disembarkation paper. Maybe it was on the wake show, but I actually never turned it on this cruise. Port Valet could not have been better. I was also on the same cruise and enjoyed it. I was lucky and had a great day from Skagway going into the Yukon, including Emerald Lake. Sorry you missed it.
  3. Do you know if this is something Princess will verify for everyone or does it happen once in Canada by Canadian authorities? YES, everyone must complete Arrive Can if getting off the or NOT. A little clarification on this ... Waiting on the 96hr pre-cruise time to complete the app. I was on phone with ArriveCan yesterday, ArrivaCAN can not be completes prior to 72 hours before embarkation time. I also found this via Google. When can you fill out ArriveCan when embarking on a cruise from Seattle Within 72 hours You can only start your ArriveCAN form within 72 hours of your upcoming cruise embarks, so be sure you add this to your pre-cruise planning list. You will not have access to the form if your cruise is outside of 72 hours.
  4. This is the Princess standard for cruises departing/debarking New York. This is nothing new, has been this way for years. The best thing to do is what has been suggested above and get clarification from the various port websites. Kind of a rule of thumb... embarking/debarking cruises would most likely be Brooklyn/Red Hook, day visit possibly Manhattan.
  5. I did send another request from another email address and .... I got an immediate automated response. Maybe it is something very very new?
  6. I submitted my request by email last Friday evening. There was no automated response and it has not yet been posted. Maybe an automated response it is just a random thing. I had heard it can take months to see it posted, so I made my submission in plenty of time. Hmmmmm, last time I was on HAL the email with my request was rejected due to my ,rr email address without any notification. I did call HAL World Cruise Dept that handles these requests prior to the cruise to check on it and the agent took care of me. To be sure I think I will send my request again from a different email address to Princess in case that is an issue again.
  7. @JimmyVWine I should have said it was NOT a Princess cruise. It was NCL on a week during Canadian Spring Break. And YES, there really were over 500 kids. That number came from a crew member. Princess is fine for me and I hope they keep the familiar atmosphere/ambience we are used to.
  8. Have you ever been on a ship that was taken over by more than 500 kids running amuck? I have, and it is NOT FUN! You will not be able to use any ship amenities like pool, hot tubs, etc. It is no longer your cruise. NEVER AGAIN! I do love kids, but just prefer not to vacation with them
  9. AFIK The only Royal class ship that has an enclosed pool is the Majestic Princess. It is called Hollywood Conservatory I am sure someone will correct me if that is not true.
