We will be on the Dream a few weeks ago and were bored with old menu.

Not sure what to make of this, did the Dream have a few of the the new menu items? :confused:

Your research is correct. The Miracle does not have Guys or the Blue Iguana.

 

The only thing it seems to have from the 2.0 upgrades is the Sea Day Brunch. ;)

Will they be added soon as is being asked by the OP?

Someone posted here that there would be a delay in the Dr Seuss roll out until the wardrobe malfunction for Thing 1 and Thing 2 was corrected.

I would think that if you left them in the bag the crispyness goes away and they become soft.

To each their own, I prefer soft cookies. We are all different and this is what makes life interesting.

Don't worry there are phones in cabins!

At set dining times it's considered a courtesy to tell your table-mates you won't be there on a following evening so they won't wait for you to order their meal.

Not correct. Dinner choices on lido closely mirror what they are serving in DR for dinner.

It is interesting that you state you never eat there but you know the menu choices ??????

The times I've tried the buffet for dinner the entree selections were not what was being served in the MDR that evening. For the most part the buffet was disappointing in the few hot items served, lack of variety and only one cook/server on duty at the buffet to assist or answer questions for guests. Back to the MDR for dinner for us!

Unfortunately nothing like a butler. On Carnival somebody's surname could be Butler but that's as close as it gets. I wouldn't have it any other way. I like Carnival.

I prefer to read reviews that are composed first and submitted all at once so the review doesn't get interrupted by others or worse, hijacked. Also, people who quote an entire review, including the pictures, just to say "nice review" or similar should skip the quote button altogether and just comment, if they must.

They call it a sale but sometimes the prices are good and sometimes not so good.

We have had some excellent waiters over the years and have seen one or two on a later cruise but have forgotten their names.

I see you sailed the Carnival Spirit several times but didn't mention that class of ship as you did the Conquest and Dream classes. How do Spirit class ships compare to the renovated Sunshine for a serene area to relax from the noise of the mid-ship pool activity?

The Napoleons aren't "authentic" to some but I think they are delicious and a close second to the Key Lime pie.

My daughter got a steak one night and said it was cold so she didn't eat it. But she is a persnickety 16 year old so I'm not real sure about her critique. I didn't try it so I don't know for sure.

Cold food that should be served hot is my biggest peeve with Carnival's MDR service. I believe your daughter.

I asked John Heald for the recipe for the chocolate chip cookies. He said they are not made on the ship.

In that case all the desserts should be made off the ship! :)
