  1. MylesS, do they have a World Club Representative onboard please.
  2. Thanks for that, but no our World Club number starts with RR not four digits.
  3. You have been lucky, I have had countless phone calls and emails and still nothing. I was asked to ring Southampton by the American World Club and then the Southampton gave me the same reply, please ring the American World Club!! The people in Southampton are as much use as a chocolate teapot!! LOL!! We still live in hope that before we sail we can get our two numbers linked, but I don't hold out much hope.
  4. After hanging on for 45 mins on hold, I was cut off. Not a happy bunny!! They eventually rang me back and said that it could not be done as the USA site does not speak to the UK site. Therefore I will loose one cruise booking to my total. I am not bothered about the perks but I would have like this one cruise added to my total number of cruises.
  5. I will ring again tomorrow and see if they can sort it out, will let you now the out come!!!
  6. It seems as though there are quite a few of us, counting down the days now.
  7. Has anyone not had their World Club Number put on their next cruise? My TA has said that the number is not valid? Is this because we booked this cruise through a American website. Has anyone booked through an American website and had their World Club Number assigned to that cruise. Thanks
  8. Has no one been into the Spa on Queen Anne, seems odd that no one has replied.??
  9. Hattie, I realise you are in BC but do you go up to the Artisan Food Market, if you do could you find out if there is a Pasta Station, like on Queen Victoria, where they make up a Pasta of your choice. Many thanks.
  10. It was enforced on Queen Victoria a few weeks ago, let us hope that they keep doing it.
  11. For those who have sailed recently on Queen Anne, can you please update re the Buffet. We have heard that all the Buffet is now served and not a help yourself buffet. Is this correct please. Also there are various reviews about the food not being very hot, most of the reviews say that food at best is only luke warm!!
  12. We have just disembarked Queen Victoria and noticed that they have changed the fixed dining times. The late sitting is now 8pm, just wonder if they will keep these times for the Christmas Cruise?
  13. We were on the previous cruise, and on Gala Nights the Maitre'd did not let anyone in the MDR without a jacket, he had a rail at the entrance and asked gentlemen who were without a jacket if they needed one, if they refused then he said the Lido Buffet was open. I was quite impressed that they enforced this and long may it continue.
  14. I don't know how many times I have asked that the food is a little hotter in the Buffet. Their excuse is that they do not want the passengers to burn themselves?? I have heard also, so many passengers saying that the food is only warm at best, but Seabourn don't seem to listen. (Rant Over)
  15. Just disembarked yesterday, we had a great cruise, yes there were one or two complaints. Main disappointment was our deck six cabin exterior, The balcony rail, I think had not been varnished for years, by the look of it, and the amount of rust was far more than we have experienced on Queen Victoria, and this was our seventh cruise on her. The interior as usual was very well kept. Over all a very happy set of crew, there are one or two exceptions, one mainly in the Britannia Dining room, I don't think he was a happy chappie. The only other person was in the Chart Room, every other waiter was efficient and timely with you order, but if you got him then you had a ling wait for your drinks, we could not work this out, he would take your order and at least 20 minutes passed before he returned with your drinks. Other people would order, with another waiter, and their drinks were served promptly. Yes I do think that there are some bad apples in the barrel, but overall the staff were great and could not do enough for you. Queen Victoria is still our favorite ship with Cunard.
  16. We have never had to wait for a tender on Encore, you have to remember that Encore and Ovation have an extra deck and they also have a Retreat, which we love. The Solis restaurant is far bigger also and they have a bar at the entrance to Solis, again we think is far better. We didi not notice much of a difference to the other ships re number of passengers, the only thing was on sea days the pool area seemed more grouded.
  17. The photos are of Seabourn Encore Not Queen Victoria. But on Queen Victoria they did have the plastic type sliders but that was a few years ago, they may have stopped them now. Perhaps someone who has been on Queen Victoria recently cold comment!!
  18. Oceania Marina and Riviera have both steam and saunas for Men and Women. The other ships just have a Steam Room.
  19. Happens all the time now, seems as though the Cabin Steward are told to remove any unopened liquor.
  20. Thank you that's all I needed. Thank you, that's all I needed
  21. Thank you for your comments, but I did say I am well aware of the first and second dining times. On previous QV cruises even though we were Freedom dining we were able to say to the Maitre'd a time. On our 10 day cruise last December we had the same table for 7 of the 10 nights. So no more answers please about fixed time dining. Please note re clarification re my question, I did only ask if anyone knew of the times the Maitre'd was at his podium on Embarkation day.
  22. The answer to your question about referral, is Yes they do. Just get someone who has sailed with them, they should have a referral voucher. Also note that Quest has a Free of Charge Sauna in the Gents changing room, so if you want just a Sauna there is no need to pay.
