  1. We are going to do the Panama Canal partial transit this November. It includes new ports for us from Galveston. Costa Rica, Columbia, Curacao, Aruba, 4 new ports for us. We are excited they started doing this from Galveston. 14 days.

  2. I'm so crazy I booked a balcony on deck 6 of Magic that has the extended deck 5 below. I saw a news story where a kid fell from one of those and only broke an arm or something. I was worried about our 5 year old.

deck five can look up into your balcony on the Magic. Be sure you are not over the bar b q. smoke came into ours during the hours it was open. very little privacy on deck 6. hot tubs with people under you in some areas. look at the deck plans.

  3. We went there and it is a sand bar in the middle of the ocean. Very little island .... Rained and stormed and there was no place to get out of the rain except a small tent they were cooking under. No chairs. No umbrellas. Just beach and rocks. Snorkeling was a joke. They took you out from the bank. I enjoyed the tour to Banister or Starfish island much better than this one to Goff's Caye. Boat was way overloaded and too much confusion as to where to find them once we got off the ship tender. I would recommend taking the tour from the ship.

  4. Wow you hit 15. That is enjoying a cruise.

I am so sorry to hear about Dad. I went with my mom on three cruises and we are so grateful we enjoyed the time with her. It is hard. I want you to know we enjoy reading your reviews and your memories of cruising with your Dad was delightful. Enjoy on as you are doing in his memory. Thanks for taking the time to write the reviews. Maybe I will see you someday on a cruise.

It was chilly. Hi Sadie, fellow cruisemates.

We used Roberts Tours in Hawaii and they were great. Rickeys tours for Hilo was also great. Be sure and go to Lahaina. We want to go back and spend more time there.

I just wanted to say: You Go Girl!!!!!!.. I love reading your reviews. Usually I lurk and learn from Cruise Critic. I so enjoy your pictures. Prayers for Dad and hopefully he will be cruising soon again. I would not take for the three cruises we took Mom on before we lost her to cancer three years ago. She enjoyed them so much. Memories. Life is just too short, you must go out and enjoy life to the fullest. I think that you do. I am so proud of you for getting out and enjoying the cruises. Meeting new friends, and cruising is the greatest way to meet and have fun. I say cruise all you can and enjoy even the smallest things in life.

  7. Can anyone post a pic of the pin? I didn't get one on my last cruise and I am debating on if it is worth contacting them about or just another trinket I don't need.

I asked the room steward why i did not get a pin? She stated they were not giving them anymore. I also showed her the letter and stated it says i get a pin and the website says so also. Still did not get a pin...

  8. We just returned from Costa Maya and yes please take the taxi for 2.00 or the shuttle for 3.00 to the beach. It was beautiful. Steve, owner of Tropicante was very nice and had our chairs ready for us. We were there 1-8:00 p.m. so that made our beach day short. Shrimp was excellent. Beers were $16.00 for a bucket of 6. Check out the Tropicante....

  9. 15 glorious days on the Miracle. I loved everything about her. We booked a 4K room between two life boats for the interior price. It was great having light in the room. Comedians were not that good. Shows so so. Food was good. The docor was beautiful, i thought. Grapes in the dining room were awesome. Some comment they do not like the decor. Be sure and find the Great Gatsby i think if is called. We took some excellent pictures there.

    Enjoy.

  10. Be sure and ask which bus goes back to your hotel. we made the mistake and rode and rode and thought we would not get off anytime soon. 1.5 hour ride. One goes one way and the other one goes the other way. Rite Aid has liquor and beer and wine. It is a long walk back to the stop for the bus from there. we did see the walmart on the other street. Just ask when you get on if they go by Walmart and then ask which bus takes you back to the hotel. Free , but at their schedule. lol...

We seen unbelievable prices on liquor. Too bad we could not take it back on the ship. lol.
