Zebra Cruiser

Not that I don’t wish anyone on the next segment to New Zealand a seamless cruise, but if our cruise was compromised so the next cruise can go to New Zealand I would find that additionally upsetting. As Mrs F can attest, this was our 4th port cancellation (5th if you consider we were supposed to be in Brisbane two days). There have also been alterations in arrival/departure times and many Oceania shore excursion cancellations. By the way, I was in the Polo Grill the night the power went out - we did get a full meal but it took 3 hours and came in a strange order. At first they were only serving cold foods, but even ran out of these as everybody was ordering them.

Per Mrs F’s post above, outcome was not good. Due to required hull cleaning we not only are missing today’s port but tomorrow’s as well. Two bucket list destinations. Yes, we were informed by the private tour company via email one and a half hours before captain’s announcement. They are now scrambling to provide something to occupy us for two disappointing days. An hour later the captain’s announcement is the only info we’ve received. We are outside Kangaroo Island

I’m in one on the Regatta currently. I have no problem with it - mine has a small pilot instead of a larger life boat out the window so I can see a bit around it. Biggest fallback with the cabin (aside from the price) is it has no table/chair so nowhere to eat/sit aside from the bed or desk stool. Been in this cabin for 4 weeks and still overall happy with it.

As someone who frequently travels solo I’m sad to hear that. I’ve made many lifelong friends who were dinner mates.

Since you’re having the problem ongoing this is probably not the issue, but if you have an Oceania TA you cannot both access your account simultaneously. There have been times the TA has been looking into something for me in my account and I cannot get in (and I get the same endless loading icon)

As someone who can just barely sneak in my December cruise in my limited time off work, is traveling across the world and is spending the most money I’ve ever spent to travel (tapping all my savings) I couldn’t be happier.
