  1. Your price of $5300 with 3 adults didn't get the bogo sale price?

Then your price of $2502, was a real sale. Royals recent "sales" have not been a true bogo. Even when there is a ksf promo the first two cruiser rates are higher.

Even your $3488 rate I cant get. The $2502 included port fees and taxes? Thanks

no taxes, port charges and fees were included in those rates

  2. I put in 2 adults and my 12 year old son for gs and it comes in at $4586 with d+ discount and $4755 with no d+ discount. That is with the bogo and ksf promo. Do you have the invoice?

Looking at your screenshot, it shows $5357 in the upper right corner. How did you get price down to $2502?

    Thanks

that was for 3 adults....I re-adjusted it after..sorry no screen shot ...the rate for one adult was 1668, half for BOGO second adult $834= 2502

  4. Out of pure curiosity I priced a GS on Symphony for the 4 of us April 20-27 which is our son’s spring break and the price is $14,228. If I paid that price and experienced some of the things I have experienced in this suite I would be PISSED to put it mildly.

This ship is beautiful and as always the staff in CK and Coastal Kitchen are wonderful if not a bit stretched and over worked. We feel we got great value for this cruise and feel we booked an amazing deal on Symphony. Once the boys get a little older and we are forced to travel during high season cruising will take a back seat for us.

    See you all later tonight!

yea, a double bang...new ship and holiday cruising = premium pricing .....see ya in the CK tonight

I didn’t want to be petty and take photos of the mold spores growing around my tub in the suite that only a few weeks ago families probably spent $10k+ for but since I’m insufferable here you go.

wow, should not be happening.....when we sailed last year 12/17 our OS was fine, CK service was great....we are sailing this 12/18 in the same OS...( price $5703 for 3).....I hope things get corrected due to your feedback to RCI...thanks for sharing and taking me along

  6. We have found that the service on this particular cruise has been spotty. Our stateroom attendant has neglected to leave toiletries twice already. We had to address this with Hotel director. The first thing I did when I met him was hand him $20 and asked him to take good care of us. We don’t believe it is his fault - we believe he is not properly trained which makes it his superior’s fault.

Our server in CK from past cruises is on here. He is excellent. However, this cruise he takes longer than usual to start serving us and bring food. He forgets to bring us items and is no where near as good as we remember him to be. Again, we do not believe it is his fault. It seems - and we may be wrong - that CK is not as well staffed as in the past. He is clearly handling more tables than is optimal.

The ship is in generally good condition but there are areas that are showing wear and tear - mostly furniture and floors.

Our suite in the past had an interesting vase with some items in it on the coffee table in the living room. It no longer exits. The master bedroom used to have a nice white box for women to store their jewelry - it is also gone. And you already saw the issue we had with the master bedroom chair.

We’re simply not impressed with this cruise and my wife keeps mentioning how we would have felt if we had paid the usual $10,000 to $13,000 that this GS normally costs.

Small stuff but it sucks and more importantly it shouldn’t be happening.

sorry to hear that service is lacking and the ship seems ragged .......maybe speaking with concierge or loyalty ambassador about your concerns may help....at least you will be getting out to someone on the ship

  7. Yes, you are right...if you need 12 hours of beer and wine...then SL it is. ;)

And if you think CK is free....ummmm...no such thing as free lunch...pun intended.

Since this thread is about Radiance, the last time I was on board, I got free drinks in the CL, free drink vouchers around the ship, and three free bottles of wine delivered to my cabin, and BOGO first and second night in specialty restaurants. When I cruised on Radiance, I spent money on a regular balcony cabin to obtain all of that. For what I would have to pay for a Grand Suite to get SL privileges on ships that have a CK and SL...that free is not so much "free" any longer for the price difference.;)

And yes, my next four cruises on Oasis class are in a Grand Suite. I love CK and the SL...obviously I do know the difference in what I pay for that benefit...it's not free.

    i agree with you..nothing is FREE...just pre-paid

  8. The Concierge Lounge on Radiance has the same features as a Suites Lounge, has a beautiful view, sliding glass doors that go to an outside seating area, and a nice half circle bar (that we enjoy the most).

Specialty restaurants (especially Chops) are very good on Radiance IMHO.

is it the "same" as on oasis class ships...open 11am-11pm with full service free wine/beer/soda? specialty rest. are not free like CK
