The sail away meet up had 6 people. Terrible considering 307 are registered for m&m. But everyone was very friendly  had the worst margarita from the wipeout bar... one sip and told them to keep it did ne’er at coastal kitchen, Lawrence is our waiter for the trip, he was our server in December, the best. Mohammed is one of Concierge’s, he is super nice and remembered our names. Henry is the CK chef. Super nice. I asked him if we could have calamari appetizer, which is not on CK menu, but is on mdr menu- he said of course. Filet mignon was excellent  tomorrow. Nassau is tomorrow, we will probably stay on the ship. Our room steward forgot to leave us tomorrow’s compass , not a good start to the week watching Indiana  vs Boston   Tight game

Special 9 night cruise this week

We are on the ship while this’s live I only have a phone so copy’s does pics will be limited  we are in a GS cabin, just me and DW this time. It is a rare9 night cruise stopping at labadee, Nassau, st Thomas, st Maarten, PR waiting in SL, furniture is worn out our m&m has 307 people signed up a sail awY meet up after muster wipe out bar, meet up at first happy hour sabor and slot pull   Glad to have you aboard. Time for a mimosa

the food in most venues is mediocre-what else when cooking for 6000 people  ....some specialty restaurants are better..150 central park is the best....now if you're in a suite..and ask/tip nicely you may be able to have the chef in the coastal kitchen cook you up some "private" food ..which is real tasty.....

reading Andy C reviews highly recommended......I will be on her next week and report back  

in general the ship is more like a floating water/amusement park, than a traditional ocean cruising vessel

Indeed.  They had a great selection of tunes. When Owen first ever heard “We Won’t get Fooled Again”, he said “hey they are playing CSI”. We gave him a quick Who musical history. Changed how he looked at CSI Miami as well.

kill em with kindness...make friends with staff, be polite and friendly, cruise often, the concierges see what is going on...they want you(me) to be happy ....yes mention stuff, that is stopping you from being happy....in your cabin, around the ship-etc-not picky little stuff, but real problem stuff...like the TV in the room is broken and despite 2 phone calls no one has responded, mold in the room, rooms not cleaned, food from restaurants is cold not up to par, no seats in SL....not only will the concierge make it right..but they and the hotel director, loyalty  ambassador start sending gifts to your room-comp specialty restaurants..but also credit your trip....not looking for wrong stuff to get free stuff..but when you pay for things they should be right, or RCI makes it right

yes indeed....they use pocket books and are very abrupt about saying...oh all these chairs are taken, we are waiting for our friends......don't even think about saying anything back to them, they will show you their PIN......report it to the concierge and get a portion of your cruise fair credited back to you
