    My friends encountered similar situation when they booked a mini suite for the 2026 Sapphire Princess 15 days 8/19/26-9/3/26.  That sailing also advertised as $99 deposit, but when they booked, it asked for full $800 deposit.

I used my FCD and booked a cabin for the 2026 Sapphire Princess 15 days 8/19/26-9/3/26.  Several friends decided to join us; they don’t have any FCD.  After they found that cruise, at the left top of the page with the pricing and itinerary, it advertises “$99 Deposit”.  During their booking, they got to the page where it shows pricing for each person, and to book, need to click “book now” button at the end.  On that page, it asked for $800 deposit.  They really want to join us, so they continued and booked with an $800 deposit.  They wondered why it advertises as “$99 deposit” but ended up having to pay $800?   Anyone encountered similar situation when they booked the cruises on this new sale?

    On Chrome, tried log in and out 4 times, and all 4 times went all the way to "book now", then that message came up.

     

    So, decided to try it on Edge.  After log in to my account, the cabin of my 1st choice is gone; I think my last several tries maybe took away that cabin.  🙂  So, tried the cabin next to it, and all went fine.  So successfully booked.  Just got of curiosity, I went back to Chrome and log in to my sister's account, because she wants me to book a cabin for her.  Same error message.  So, used Edge again, and successfully booked my sister's cabin also. 

     

    So, if Chrome doesn't work, try Edge.  🙂

    "We were not able to continue to the next step. Please try again or revisit us later this evening.".

     

    Anyone successful booking it online?

  5. Enchanted has 9 hot tubs.  Majestic has 6 hot tubs.  Did a 28-day cruise on the Majestic last year; loved the ship (especially the indoor hot tubs and Noodle Bar).  Read a lot of good reviews of the Enchanted; so, booked a b2b (total 21 days) on the Enchanted for this August.

I was looking forward to the tea in the stateroom benefit. But when I called room service I was told I had to order it a day in advance. I apologized that I was a new baby elite and didn't know all the rules yet. She laughed and said, "I'll see what I can do" and lo and behold, a nice tea service arrived!

     

    What is included in the Elite "tea service"?  Just regular tea?  TIA.

    Do you mind telling me the name of the new VPN service your husband subscribed to?  I will be traveling to China in October.  The last time I was there, there were many sites that were not allowed, and can't check my Yahoo mails.  I was told it will be best to subscribe to a VPN service before the next China trip.   TIA.

     

    BTW, we will be on your August cruise.  We will be doing the 14 days with B2B of the 7 days.

    Yes.  Just enter the final balance. The card will not zero out and instead will carry the difference which you can use on board by going to Guest Services and have them upload that amount as OBC. Or you can just hold on to the card and use it for a future cruise payment.

    Thank you. I will use the remaining balance of that card on the other cruises I need to pay. 

  10. I logged in to my Princess account and applied my Princess gift cards to pay my final payment.

    I entered 9 cards with $500 per card, everything went fine.  After that, I have a remaining balance of $21.87.  Then I applied my 10th card, card balance is $500.  So, I entered $500 in the “amount” box.  Then I got the message “Amount is required” above the Amount box.  Am I not supposed to enter $500 (the balance on my card)?  Am I supposed to enter just “$21.87”, my remaining balance due?  I didn’t enter $21.87 because I am afraid my $500 card will be zero out after it deducted the $21.87.

    Any assistance will be appreciated.

I purchased five $500 Princess cards at 11 a.m. (PT) this morning and now it is 5:30 p.m. and I still haven't received the emails with the e-cards.  I have purchased many Princess cards in the past and have always received the emails within 10 minutes.  For this purchase, I used my new Amex Delta credit card (first time using this card), I wonder if that caused the delay.  I went to my Amex account, and it shows $2,300 has been charged by AARP.

  14. I am on Discovery right now. Yesterday when I use the old app, the only choice I had was to upgrade to the new app. So I did. With the new app, I only see my current cruise , and all my future cruises not showing. So I chose “add journey” and put in the booking numbers and all bookings were not found. So this morning I went to OceanFront and the internet manager there tried it on my app and got the same messages. He said he needs to investigate and told me to see him again tomorrow. He thinks maybe because my next cruise won’t be until August.

    I have not seen Elite Suite lines at embarkation for quite awhile just green and blue lines. If you are super early and go through blue to get your medallion then you can still go to elite suite lounge until they start boarding. We never show up before noon or one so never worry about it

    We used San Pedro port for embarkation in Nov. 2022 for Discovery Princess, and back then there was a line for Elite and Suite.  Of course, at that time, Medallion was not needed to be in "green".
