We still enjoy cruising and have future cruises booked. Just returned from our 3rd cruise for this year.

Agree. I can't even remember what my wife is wearing and she always picks the color of a shirt I wear in the evening that compliments what she is wearing.

Celebrity still does the evening pillow chocolate. RC doesn't.

RCs casinos (no matter the ship) are smoking lounges that allows gambling.

We did a B2B cruise in March on the Explorer. Spinners were not available unless taking a class. We did a cruise on the Summit 21 September and there were 4 spinners (Peloton) for anytime use. There were other spinners but they were only for the spinning class.

Agree. Huge plus in our book! Kudos to Celebrity for that one. And we aren't gamblers. RC only allows smoking in the casino. RC needs to follow Celebrity's lead on that.

Agree, but you will each get the laundry perk when you make D+ which is easier than making elite+.

Well aware of the new CC HH. Just returned from a 21 September cruise on the Summit. CC HH is available at all bars (Summit). We would like to see the CC go back to what the CC HH was pre shut down not what the CC considers it know. 👎

Agree, Celebrity does say no shorts are allowed in the MDR in evening. The unpublished exception is on the first evening.

We are in our 70's. We sail both Celebrity and RC. We don't cruise on RCs mega size ships. Freedom Class is the largest class we cruised on. We prefer the Voyager and Radiance class the best. Celebrity's fleet of ships would be in the Radiance and Voyager class. Less kids on Celebrity. Food and entertainment I feel is subject. We like the differences and similarities between the two. You will be elite on Celebrity. Celebrity doesn't have a dedicated lounge like RC does (DL). The Captains Club stopped doing the CC HH in the Sky Lounge when they started back up. Bummer! RC excels in that category. Elite, elite plus and Zenith get unlimited drinks from 5:PM to 7:PM at most bars every evening except the first evening (embarkation). Nothing for that night. No CC HH drinks in any of the dining venues or theater except in the morning from 8:AM to 10:AM in the Tuscan Grille where they serve bloody mary's, mimosa's and bellies and a continental style breakfast.

No personal experience cruising during the hurricane season (June to November) in the Caribbean but all the Caribbean ports are subject to bad weather that possibly could effect intinaries. Mother nature is always in charge. Wear your rose colored glasses, always keep your glass full and adjust accordingly. 😍🍷

I stopped in the Tuscan Grille one morning to get a spicy bloody mary. The CC host advised me I wouldn't be able to take the drink out. I told her I would be ordering using my CBP. No problem.

No elite carryout drinks in the morning from the Tuscan Grille on our recent Summit cruise.

Go speak with the Captains Club Concierge not GS prior to the end of your first leg. That way the CCC can make the change so you get all the elite benefits/perks at the start of the second leg.

Our 21 September NE/Canada Summit cruise we missed three ports (Saint John NB, Sydney NS and Charlottetown PEI) due to the damage from Fiona. That cruise was the only cruise that we experienced an itinerary change due to weather while on the cruise.

Your itinerary can change even during the cruise missing ports.
