Hm so I could book a sanctuary balcony and get all these benefits, I think those cabins will be in demand - depending on cost of course. Would love to see Sun or Star sailing out of Southampton 2026. hurry up Princess with the 2026 Europe sailings!

I'm Oct 2024, mine are still there. I booked all mine in Estrella on Sky.
-
Are these category on sale for any sailings yet?

I completely agree with the op, prior to Princess plus we had only ever bought a soft drinks package on other lines and whilst often not meaning to kept a pretty strict eye on 'frivolous' spends. Since trying plus, whilst we could save a few £s by going standard fare, we love the all inclusiveness and being able to treat ourselves. I think on a long voyage we may rethink it though, lol.

Not sure why you need to see them at all if they follow the same pattern as previous years it will be the same old same.
I am a teacher so need to see how they fall with the dates and different school hols

There is a full week between being able to see the itineraries and being able to book them.
If they have them ready now, why can't they just share them, I have no patience 🙂

I wish they would make them available to browse now to allow us time before the 16th to decide which (if any) we want to do.
Same here, would be nice to pick out the cruises interested in before they go on sale x

Anyone have any insider info on when summer 2026 will go on sale? Thanks

Congratulations to your wife on her 50th, and what an amazing way to celebrate!! You will love the Sky - it is a beautiful ship with so many lovely amenities. We did a similar Med cruise on the Sky last September - not all the same ports, but several in common.
In terms of shipboard activities, there will be a daily schedule that you can use to guide your interests. If you enjoy poolside time, it should be nice and warm for you. There will also likely be some other young people in your daughter's age group that she might enjoy meeting.
Since this is a celebration cruise - maybe your wife and daughter would enjoy some spa services - massage, pedicure, manicure. My daughter and I have done that together and it is always fun.
The Catch would be a great choice for a nice dinner for your wife's birthday - very special!!
In terms of the ports, I can share a few things we did at some of the ports you have in common with our cruise last year.
Livorno - We booked a private small group tour with EU Italy that picked us up at the port - we stopped first at the Leaning Tower of Pisa and had about an hour there, and then proceeded to Florence for a brief guided tour and then time on our own to explore. They arranged advance reservations and tickets to see the Statue of David, which was immensely helpful to bypass the lines. I would highly recommend them.
Barcelona - we did this day on our own as taxi service was so easy to use there. We caught a taxi from the ship first thing in the morning and headed to the Gothic Quarter and spent the entire morning their walking the streets, touring the Cathedral, and stopping for a Tapas lunch with a generous pitcher of Sangria. We then caught a taxi to Sagrada Familia for our pre-booked 2 p.m. entry and spent a couple of hours there - stunning!! Easy to catch a taxi back to the ship at the end of the day with a little added tour around the city that we requested.
Alghero, Sardinia - We did something pretty unique here that didn't seem to be on the radar for most of our fellow cruise passengers. There is an amazing sea cave just off the coast - Neptune's Grotto (Grotto di Nettuno). It is spectacular and there are ferries that run back and forth to the cave from the dock directly where your tenders let you off at the base of the old town. It was jaw droppingly beautiful - like a natural cathedral. We did that first thing in the morning and then still had time for lunch at a street side cafe and a walk around the old town - be sure to check out the beautiful red coral jewelry.
Civitavecchia for Rome - this was the one place we splurged on an expensive Princess tour because we wanted to see as much as possible and not be worried about getting back to the ship - we booked the full day tour that included a tour of the Colosseum, Forum and archeological sites, Basilica of St. Peter in Chains, and lastly St. Peter's Square and the Vatican. It was a Sunday, so the Museum wasn't open, but we were able to tour St. Peter's Basilica and actually see service being held and hear the choir. It was worth every penny to make the absolute most of our day in Rome.
Hope you find some of these suggestions helpful and that you enjoy an amazing cruise!!
Can I ask how physical the cave trip was in Alghero? Thanks

If you cancel before the cruise and paid with a credit card you will be refunded to a credit card. If you cancel before the cruise and paid with onboard credit then it will go back to onboard credit. If you cancel once you are onboard no matter how you paid it will be credited to your onboard account as onboard credit.

We’re booked on the July 2025 TA on Majestic! Iceland, yahoo! See you onboard! Princess does indeed have some very imaginative itineraries and the reason why we also cruise with them.
I've just booked this cruise too, haven't been on Majestic before, haven't been to Iceland, Canada or New York so very excited (we're from Wales). x

Very few children on a repo cruise. And the conservatory is usually pretty peaceful even with kids using the pool as it is 2 separate spaces. There is a bar located in the pool zone.
Sounds lovely x

No, there's still the casino and spa. $$$
Aw that's a shame, will miss the Retreat bar. Hopefully not too many children on a repositioning cruise.

Does this mean no adult only areas at all on Majestic? Thanks in advance

From the above press release, can we presume any of the following?
1. Plus/Premier will now either vault over, or have similar check-in priority as Elite guests? Perhaps they weren't thinking of the time period prior to boarding commencing because at HQ, no one thinks a guest arrives at the terminals before 11:30am?
2. Standard Fare guests will no longer receive free pizza at Alfredo's/Gigi's?
3. Standard Fare guests will no longer receive free drink and snack service to their location on the ships. Remember how this was touted as a fantastic thing with the Medallions? Now it will cost $15 to have this service for the voyage. And B2B'ers will have to pay it twice. After all, we do get extra benefits like another mini-bar on B2B, so have to pay as well. I suspect many/most guests will consider this fee a gratuity and perhaps adjust tipping amount on delivery??
4. Standard Fare guests continue to subsidize the packages by paying for room service. We don't use RS, so NBD.
5. I suspect all of this will one day in future lead to an increase in the Plus/Premier and they will still market it as the most fantastic value since the Model T.
3 and 4 I read as standard fare guests pay $14.99 to activate the drinks and dining side of the medallion and food and drinks ordered using room service or app will incur a $5 fee each time.

Hi, I paid £30 for plus package for my upcoming July cruise, I'm in the UK. However, I am tempted to try the premier package and wonder if I could just upgrade from plus to premier onboard and how much this would cost. If I had the new plus I assume it would just cost £15 each a day but I have the old £30 a day plus so would I get a bargain and they would just charge the £15 a day or would they make me pay to upgrade to the new plus first.
Interested in actual experiences if people have done this.
Thanks in advance

Yes we have the plus package. I don't drink coffee, but he does, so good to know!
They do tea and hot chocolate too, as well as an iced coffee xx

E415 there should be no obstruction apart from a canopy or prom deck directly below but no obstruction looking out to sea. x

We're in the UK and have only cruised Princess and P&O since Covid. Prior to covid Princess was our favourite, post covid Princess is our favourite. The only way you are going to know is to go 🙂 I hope you have a wonderful time x

Has the Bar in the Casino been removed?
Apparently it has and been replaced with slot machines.

My daughter works for Apple and still can't get the Ocean Ready part of the app to work for her or her partner on their booking. If she signs in with her details it says system error, if she uses the booking reference it says booking already claimed. Doesn't matter how tech savvy you are if it isn't working. Her father and I have a different booking ref and are all done - green lane.
She has phoned and been told a ticket is raised keep trying but still the same.
We go in 90 days, looks like they will have to do it all at the port.

https://www.princess.com/military_benefit_program/Thank you, we have already applied for the onboard credit. Is the upgrade to Premier available to UK, I can't see any mention of it?

I would love the Irish pub to be on Sky too, but it doesn't appear to be being added during the current dry dock. 😞

Is this for US only?

I'm the end of Oct, 28th. I wonder if Estrella will be the reservations restaurant then they wouldn't need to cancel reservations made 🙂
