If you have a DW with an extended balcony, I would advise against re-faring into a guarantee reservation.  Those cabins go fast and there are some TAs who are on top of looking for these cabins for their clients and snatch them up at the soonest opportunity.

Also remember, there is no differentiation between locations in the DW category.  All locations of this category are categorized as DW--aft, mid-ship, forward, and anything in between are lumped into one.

Thank you, that was what I thought, will stay where I am unless a numbered cabin opens up.

  2. I want to refare and book with a special offer, Princess have said I can do this, however and usually could get my original cabin back. However, at the moment there is only guarantee cabins available in the grade I want to book. They said they can't promise that when my cabin goes back into the system that it will show up to be booked  or just still guarantees.

Also if I have booked for example a guarantee obstructed DW grade midship could I be moved to a DW grade at the front, or aft? Or should be up to the next grade unobstructed but anywhere?

    Thanks in advance

Currently on the Sky Princess and have noticed the same thing.  Ordering cans of sodas don't incur extra charges with the the Princess Plus/Premier Packages.

That would be a great change for the plus package. We usually bring on a stash for in cabin use even if on the plus package. It would be great to see this in the package details. However, we bought our package before recent increases so who knows if they would be included for us.

Did not mean to be rude marking a haha on your initial post, but the typo did give me a good laugh.  Probably caused by predictive text.

You can get a taxis to and from Bruge if you really want to go there and feel taking the train would be too difficult, bit not sure what they would cost and you would still have to make sure you were back well on time.  I have a friend who went with her sons and a dil and she reckoned it was not too bad for four of them, given the added advantage of going straight from the ship, though for two the "Bruges on your own" excursion would likely be better.  Personally we have docked on Zeebrugge a couple of times and have been quite happy staying in the seaside resort of Blankenburg - can take a fair while strolling through the town and then along the prom, stopping for refreshments.  We have been to Bruges when on a land hol and did not think it met up to what we expected, but all personal choice.

Worth going to the "Ports of Call" section of these boards and searching for those ports as I am sure I have seen a number of replies about them previously, so can likely get the cost of various travel options as well.

🤪 I hadn't even noticed I was willing to pay for my demise by way of a typo, lol

Zebrugge. We paid for a P&O transfer to Bruges (Bruges on your own - Full day). I booked this in the cruise personaliser a good few weeks beforehand and I think that the transfers were sold out before the actual cruise. However, there is still a fair way to walk from the bus park to the city centre so that might be a problem.

    This was also available:

  6. Hi, I'm thinking of booking a last minute cruise on the Iona. Will there be shuttle buses at the shop to go into the towns at Rotterdam, Hamburg and Bruges ports? Looking for either tips for a bit of sightseeing fairly close to port or easy ways to get to the places Amsterdam, Hamburg and Bruges. I have some what limited mobility for walking long distances. Trying to keep it a cheap and cheerful trip but could be persuaded to fork out for the right execution if there is any availability.

    Thanks in advance xx

    Hi,

Does someone have any information about E333 vs E334 (Emerald deck) cabins on board Sky Princess about balcony views for life boat?

Also I am looking some information about sofa bed for 3. person and if the sofa bed is open do you have any access to the balcony?

Hi, we usually book E deck but further along around E410 or so. No obstruction looking out, just a canopy below if you look straight down, but great view not hampered at all. You can use the balcony with the sofa bed down but would have to climb/walk over it to get to the balcony. This is our favourite deck and grade of cabin - don't tell others, keep it a secret.

Go to your Cruise Personalizer.  Click on Payments (which should be re-titled Payments and Packages). Click on Upgrade Now.  Check your current package (it will say "Purchased" as shown above).  The red note below "Purchased" explains what is not included (the NEW items) as shown above.

I'm in the UK and see payments and Credits, the only info I can find in my personaliser is the 2nd photo below. I have been booked for ages and only paid £30 each a day for Princess Plus package. As long as I can get strawberry daccquiries, strawberry margaritas and Pina coladas I will be happy if not, they can refund the whole Princess plus package cost for me.

I did get the package for $50 per day pp.

And no, everybody with the plus package, regardless of what they paid for it, received drinks with a limit of $15.  While the wine prices on most labeled wines went up by $1 or $2 a glass, the cap was raised by $3 a glass.  This, wines that may have been slightly over the limit prior to the change fell within the limit now.
I am just hoping the wine selection remains as good as we had on this last sailing.

Thank you, I booked my cruise on Sky for July 2023 way back and paid £30 for plus (I'm from UK) so I am hoping that I still get the $15 limit for drinks - I prefer the odd cocktail to wine. I did ask on Princess' Facebook page and they said I would get drinks up to $15 but not the desserts or fitness classes.

  10. My daughter and her partner want to book a Princess UK cruise sailing form Southampton Oct 2022. At the moment they are 20 and 23 at the time of travel she will be 21 and he will be 24. Can she make the booking now in her name and purchase Princess plus with the alcohol package included?  She will be making all the plans etc, booking excursions and so on so would like to make the booking.

    Thanks in advance

  11. I am due to go in August and asked what would happen if I cancelled before the balance due date and was told:

Hi Donna, thanks for your message. Yes, if you cancel your cruise before the balance due date then this can be done at loss of deposit only. However you can transfer your cruise booking, and move the deposit over to another new cruise, which is better than losing it! Unfortunately this cannot be added to any current booking. Please telephone the Customer Contact Centre on 0345 355 5111 (local call charges apply) for further assistance.
