  1. Can I tip Suite Concierge and my room attendant? If so, what amount? The room attendant is especially fantastic!
  2. They told us a bit over 50%. Nothing feels crowded. Our cruise was a bit different with entertainment because of NYE. I loved Never Sleep Alone and Duel Reality was great too. Ship musicians are excellent and the parties have been fantastic. I really don’t want this cruise to end! Best cruise I’ve ever had by a mile!
  3. We are sailing on Valiant Lady with “a bit” over half. Service is impeccable at all restaurants. A few nights we waited maybe 10-15 to get seated (short line) Other than the pool at 2pm on a sea day, nothing feels crowded. I never saw the Galley very crowded and there are tons of servers/ staff up there.
  4. I feel like it’s a very smooth ship. In many areas, didn’t even notice the normal little rocking.
  5. It is indeed face jewels. Did it for NYE. Got there 10 minutes early, was 4th in line. Very fun!
  6. Another great day. Dined at Pink Agave which was phenomenal. Service continues to be stellar.
  7. Food and service best I’ve had on a ship! Enjoying the shows/ musicians too. New Years was a blast! Pool a bit too crowded but we’ve got Richard’s Rooftop for peace and quiet. IMG_2222.MOV
  8. A fantastic night! Test kitchen was lovely. The Never Sleep Alone show so free at. Goodnight!
  9. We upgraded at port to Rock Star Seriously Aft Suite largest balcony for the lowest price that you could bid on it prior. $1100 This is seriously amazing! Lunch at Dockhouse sooooo good!
  10. So, Discover. Then Spaces, then venue? On board, the shows populate there? Not through Even Line Up. (cruise is today so I’m pretty confident what’s there is fairly firm)
  11. Personally I’m not a blue cheese or mushroom fan so B is my preference
  12. So on a 5 night cruise, they have A for 2 nights then B for last? B looks much more interesting to me
  13. We are at JW Marriott Marquis after driving from the St Pete area. Had a nice day Downtown. Shopping, a few drinks, did Happy Hour at our hotel (BouludSud)- nice appetizers and wine on Happy Hour Menu. our plan is to drive over and park around 12:45pm. Hopefully enter terminal at 1:00pm for our 1:30pm time slot. Just mapped out shows to try for in order of importance to us so hopefully that goes well. background: couple in early 50s. Have cruised NCL, RCCL, DCL maybe about 15 cruises. None since mid-2017. We prefer land All Inclusives ( big Sandals junkies) but the food/drinks looked great on VV and the no kids convinced my husband to try it (cruises aren’t his favorite but he wanted to go on this one). will try to post here during the cruise. excited!!!
  14. A spa sales thing? A clothing sale? anyone know?
  15. Can someone describe exactly where in the app I will make show bookings? best to turn to airplane mode? any other tips? will I book spa in app as well? my order to try for: Duel Reality VHS Workout Never Sleep Alone if still available, I’ll then grab Untitled Dance Party thing and It’s a Ship Show
  16. Hmmm so the cocktail experience for deep blue was NOT at sail away?
  17. Okay going to leave hotel at 12:15pm, drop luggage at 12:30-12:45pm, park and plan to wait at terminal doors or wherever they all right at 1pm. Thanks!
  18. Nah, I’m a terminal waiter! 😂 I love the excitement of sitting there waiting.
  19. Hi! we have a 1:30pm check in time tomorrow. I’m thinking of parking around 12:30pm. Will the lot be open at that time? Will they allow me into the terminal around 12:45pm or so? If not, how much before the 1:30 check in time?
  20. Does anyone know if the special sail away Deep Blue perk is actually the Richard’s Rooftop party? Or something different?
  21. Can you tell me more about communal dining at Test Kitchen? Im not a fan of this! No tables for two people?
