I've got a deal of lifetime for a aft corner Neptune suite..!

Last April (also in a Neptune suite) we do not have access to the Crows Nest due to renovation.

I am anxious to see this live and in colors !

I've visited Chachoben ruins twice with and autocar like this one from the port of Costa Maya.

The road to go there is sometime very bad and narrow. As I remember at that time I do not feel secure in the transport from port to the ruins and back.

My opininion on HAL and Princess … but have stayed in all rooms.HAL wins;

… for best non-smoking now on ships where non-smoking Casinos are.

Non smoking promenade deck, can walk without smelling smoke from smokers.

All rooms & balconies now non smoking.

I see your point as a mark of you're Great Tolerance towards smokers who are just looking to take a seven minutes advantage/break to smoke ! (after a good meal, in the casino (on certain nights), on our balcony where the wind is so strong so that if you smell anything, you are considered as a anti-smoke freak ...

... Very Fortunately, you are not among the people who seek or try to control our lives.

I have the chance to collect a two night stay in Rome, with a private visit of the Colosseum and a meal and a transfert to Civitaveccia. For free (a kind of) - 20 days cruise in the Mediterranean. Next April.

I am curious to know what is the hotel choice from Holland America.

Was it Savoy ? Is this a real deal ?

Where did they all dock? Did some go down to the Navy dock?

They dock all in line from Old Port to Sillery (approx. 4 km long stetch) (docks 18 to 22).

The QM2 had the best position, just in front of the Chateau Frontenac up the hill. One of them is also dock in front of Quebec City, at the Quai Paquet in Lévis.

First, the Rottedam !

The Viking Sea (Norway), Seabourn Quest (Bahamas), Pearl Mist (Marshall Islands), Aidadiva (Italy) and Celebrity Summit (Malta) arrived on Saturday. They joined the Queen Mary 2 (United Kingdom), Norwegian Dawn and Silver Whisper (Bahamas), docked since Thursday or Friday, for a total of 16,700 passengers and crew at the same time in Quebec City.

WOW ! With the beautiful days we have actually in Quebec City. Welcome you all !

One of the reasons HAL dropped CNN was that it was carried on terrestrial TV satellites and was not available in the middle of the ocean or far north(south) (caused a lot of complaints). ....

I did that cruise twice and I can assure you that you are not regret it !

For the port of calls, the regional food, the scenery, the people and the Canadian touch !

First, Welcome in the beautiful province of Quebec.

Actually they have some traffic problems in Montréal ! We have three major road construction in there. Expect some slow traffic.

In Quebec City the Fall Foliage thing begin in one or two weeks. You are lucky !

I don't like the Veendam for the same reason as RuthC.

Small ship who need a good retrofit without some of the highlight perks of cruising HA (no hydropool, some rust stains, a standard library and old concept crow's nest. Do not expect a large pool in the rear, no scenic elevators, smaller Pinnacle, etc).

I went to a luxurious hotel in Maui. Took my t-shirt off, sit on an available lounge chair by the pool. Dip in. Had a beer (that's the trick) and stay there like three hours. Pool with many «levels» and wonderful cascades !

All for less than ten dollars !!!

I was entitled to a private sale that did not cost much at all. Less than $ 4000 for two people in a Vista Suite (SZ) with a start during the holiday season (7 days / New years Eve) ..!

YOu have acutally read, heard a HAL representative use the phrase, bounce back? I have done a great many b-to-b's and never hear d that phrase out of a huge num ber of cruises.

I know S7S but the OP ask from a «locution» he heard or read on the specific (other than HA) cruise ship company. This is the same definition. IMHO
