Where do you pick up the bus to the airport? Do you remember what bus # it is?

Do transatlantic cruises offer any laundry promotions half way through the cruise? I know the regular price of the laundry bag is approx $36 (you fill as much as you can) but wondering if it ever goes lower.

I will be on the Volendam in August and the itinerary says we will be in Tracy Arm from 9-9:30am only, and then in Juneau the same day at 1pm. Will I get to see much in Tracy Arm? I heard that sailing through the fjord is beautiful but I don't think we will be doing that if the itinerary is just for 30min...am I right?

I will be in Skagway in late August. The White Pass Railway seems a bit pricey. Would I be able to see the same views or similar if I just rented a car and drove up the Klondike highway to Yukon? If I rent a car, what are must see stops along the way?

Thank you for the replies, you've all confirmed the Pros of Volendam I forgot to consider! (Wed to wed, covered pool and smaller ship making it easier to go from one side to the other for wildlife spotting)

I am deciding between these 2: HAL volendam June 28 to July 5th going to Tracy Arm, Juneau, Skagway, Glacier Bay and Ketchikan. Or RCCL Brilliance of the seas Aug 27 to Sep 3 going to Sitka, Skagway, Haines, Juneau, Tracy Arm. I've read negative reviews about Volendam but also read that Glacier Bay is a must see. I've been on many RCCL ships so I am familiar with that cruise line but am happy to try HAL as well. Thanks for any input.

I have a hold on an inside cabin on deck 1 aft. How bad is the noise from the engine/propellors/anchor? If I moved to deck 3 front (under the main theatre), would I still be able to hear the engine/propellors/anchor? This is for Carnival Radiance. Thanks

Unfortunately there are no cabins on deck 10 for 4 ppl...so I had to pick deck 12 (or 14)

does the noise quiet down at night?

Anyone have recommendations on which central park balcony cabins are better or those to avoid? I was going to choose one on the starboard side so I can see if there are line ups at Park Cafe...and on deck 12 so I can avoid the noise from the pool area above.

Is there a fee to use the beach or just the chairs? I don't need a chair or umbrella so can I just enjoy the beach for an hour or so?
