  1. it shows as being prepaid, so I would assume I am grandfathered in. I had no choice for prepaying. Because of the rate I got it at, I had to prepay.
  2. I even have the email that says it is prepaid gratuities. It is listed as a special service order summary as the title of the email.
  3. When I was booking the cruise, I also paid for my gratuities. Theme schedule is 2 formal. White Ice and Masquerade.
  4. Thank you. I will google it.
  5. Thank you so much. Will jot down your suggestions.
  6. No food...we get plenty on the cruise LOL. thank you for the help. Will do some research
  7. i tried to figure out how to delete the post, but it wouldn't let me delete it. Not sure how it duplicated, but it did. local market would be best 🙂
  8. My mom loves markets. We are doing Mexican Riviera in February with Carnival. We are doing Cabo, Mazatlan and Puerto Vallarta. Which one would have the best market to go to? I am thinking Puerto Vallarta if I remember correctly, but love opinions on that. Also, how would we get there. I checked the shore excursions with Carnival and they have nothing that would do that. I was thinking a city tour and market stop if they offered it, but they don't seem to. So we would consider taxi if that is an option. There are 4 of us doing this. Would love some ideas and opinions on how we could do this. Thank you so much

  10. yup, we normally do US customs in San Diego.
  11. Our cruise does Vancouver, Victoria, at sea (2 days) and then San Diego. I am just going to use Victoria as my arrival port. Normally you don't do US customs at Canada Place with this itinerary (I have done it 3 times already), but I am just going to pretend that we do and then consider that we are entering Canada again in Victoria 🙂 Boy, what a pain in the ass. Can't wait until all this is done.
  12. I went to Bellingham and got my 4th shot last month
  13. another option...buy a SIM when you get to the first port.
  14. it's not their Sim specifically, it's just their network. I had a question about a sim from Amazon on their TMobile network and that is what they told me.
  15. problem with Alaska is there is only 1 provider and any of the other ones (like TMobile) have to run on their lines. Depending on the plan is dependant on if it will work. I have the TMobile Pay as you go plan for $15/month. It only works on the TMobile network and does not work in Alaska. Maybe look for a specific Alaska sim?
  16. during the pandemic I used a few different Sim's from Amazon through the TMobile network. Now I just get them direct from Tmobile since I can cross the border now. I pay $15US/month for 2.5gb data and talk/text (US only).
  17. make sure you can use that one in Alaska. I would just double check that
  18. we were on the same cruise. We had a great time.
  19. i was going to, but then I found out you can't use the verifly app using a positive test...so we just decided to do the antigen test (it will be negative) so that we can upload it on the verifly app.
  20. turns out i can't use it. They don't allow a positive test as a bypass for a negative test. So printing out everything it is 🙂
