I think your odds are 50/50?  Our first cruise is in early November, LA to Hawaii, I think we are 80% to go?  But as you stated, no one knows at this point when West Coast cruises will start (other than Alaska)???

We have LA to Hawaii on November 5. My concern is Hawaii allowing us to port.  We would go any way even if we couldn’t get off the ship.  We would still enjoy that Blue Hawaii water .
But not sure Princess would sail if not allowed to port🤔

The only diet drink included in the pump form, on Princess ships is Diet Coke. Husband is a Diabetic and that was the only drink available to him on the soda package. Would have liked Diet Sprite for some of the mock tails but was only available in cans so not included in package.

Their fountain Diet Coke doesn’t taste very good. That’s a big problem for us.

Caribill - my impression, previously stated, is that the new My Time is a more efficient way to handle TD without the problems associated with various changes in TD time slots and My Time adds flexibility to AT. If it can be made to work it might be the best of several worlds.

Not to disagree with your points about scheduling but I think more efficient use of MDR has broader overall benefits.

Perhaps they are hoping this My Time way will help with the crowd of people that gather before TD even starts & the crowd of people in line for AT dining when that starts.
We don’t even like when we have to wait 15 minutes or more for a table for 2 in Club Class depending on what time we get there.  Then the crowds start to form.  Whatever they can do to stop any of the crowding, I am for it.

I can't remember from my last cruises on the Caribbean Princes for sure, but I seem to remember one of the two center MDR was ALWAYS stuffy and hot.  I know the Caribbean has been plagued with AC issues for years, and that Crooners was often miserably warm in the evenings as well.

There was a multi-day travel agent seminar last week and they had a detailed presentaion of the "Dine My Way" program.  The dining times will be bookable pre-cruise in the Medallion app only at first and guests will be able to set up "whole cruise" with same time same table guaranteed for full cruise, or make day by day ressies.   Eventually the ability to make pre-cruise ressies will be incorporated into the cruise Personalizer.    Princess Customer Service reps will supposed be able to assist with pre cruise ressies for those who do not use smart phones.   In all cases it was indicated that the guest would be able to select the dining room and time of their choice.  Space will be capacity controlled based on anticipated length of dining service.  Table #s are not selectable at booking, but once on the ship your table # will supposedly appear in the app.  For those not using smartphones/app the onboard TV system will allow you to make ressies.  At some point in future the ability to select early/late traditional or anytime at booking will go away.  Those who have booked and selected Traditional dining before the conversion date will have their requests honored.  Suite/Club Class/Elite/Platinum will have access to the dining system immediately after booking and all other guests will have access after they make final payment.

Same here, but for mid-February 2023 and only for a portion of the bonus FCC (less than $300/pp).

After an initial Summer 2020 cancellation, 3 rebookings that were all cancelled (2020, 2021 and 2022 itineraries), we are currently booked on a Spring 2022 cruise.  All refundable FCC was applied plus part of the bonus FCC.    I asked if I could use the remaining bonus FCC on a February 2023 cruise, not even as the deposit - I was going to pay the deposit. The "supervisor declined".  I think I am going to cancel and ask for the refundable FCC to be refunded and forfeit the bonus FCC.

I guess disappointed is the best description right now...

Same thing happened to us. They said NO .  Princess gave me a supervisor, still a NO.  It was also a remaining bonus FCC. And I had just made the booking the day before. It is for April 2023 .   I am not very happy.

I suppose this is what they were hoping for.

Good morning,  I’m the Op and want to thank everyone for keeping this thread alive.  I’m a first time Princess cruiser. Several on RCI. We were able to book a Panama Canal cruise in February with an accessible mini suite just this morning. Does Princess allow you to transfer your booking to a TA? I do this with Royal.

    Thanks, Paula

Also can you transfer to a TA even if you put a deposit on the booking, as long as it’s before the 60 Days???

Sorry - only US available right now. Princess does update the exchange rate regularly now, though, so you could probably get a close estimate!

Do you have prices for Hawaii leaving from Los Angles???

Thank you so much for posting this.

It is only rumor at this point. The published list of 2022 Alaska sailings from Princess does NOT include any sailings from LA to Alaska.  Could they release something at a later date?  Possibly, but it is NOT part of the Alaska 2022 deployment opening on 12/16 (12/15 for Elites)

Thank you so much. There is very little out of L.A. for 2022 summer & fall right now. I guess I will just have to cross my fingers for something to come up soon.

  10. Anyone hear of the LA. to Alaska that might be coming out tomorrow . ??
    Was it just rumors??

Maybe some Travel Agents can give us some , for sure answers.

We never saw the sailing in any thing that was posted yet, that is supposed to come out tomorrow , if Elite
    Any info is really appreciated

I didn’t read the offers closely but there seemed to be quite a bit of OBC.  Our TA, who works for that agency said she would send me more info.

Looks to me like the agency that has the 3 day sale,  are making you get the Princess plus, which already has the free gratitudes, free WiFi, & the drink package .  Maybe that’s why they are giving a large OBC added. One year when I called about their offer, I realized they were charging the same price as Princess & not any discount.  I would rather have the discount, not OBC. Also not sure if they win honor their sale with having  a Princess Casino discount.    In order to find the sale on google you must say the name of the company & Princess 3 day sale.  That’s how I found it.

  12. All the Sapphire cruises out of LA for fall of 2021 & Spring of 2022 going to Hawaii have been cancelled. Had to rebook on the Grand for April 4, 2022.  Princess called it a redeployment & we were just canceled last Tuesday.  Had 2 sailings booked.  Very disappointed, as we were looking forward to sailing on the Sapphire. Who knows where the Sapphire is being changed to.
