It does say up to 5 day; just click on load more cruises and keep scrolling. I booked the same offer as you. Found a TA from Portugal or Lisbon? (Don't remember now), 13 day to Tampa. Basically a free cabin but, date/time off doesn't work for us.

I did go back, but my offers scrolling all the way to the end only offered 3, 4 and 5 night cruises, what a bummer.😞

This is what I get when trying to book it.....

I received an email from Carnival on an offer for a lot of cruises for $100 per person. They are offering this on a 16 day Panama Canal Cruise on the Freedom for September 2022.

Wow, I thought they were only offering this deal on up to 5 nights of sailing, I would jump on this asap had it been offered to me. 😁

  3. Not this exact offer but I did receive many offers for $100 and I booked it too, except mine was for a free interior... but it let me book a PT included in price, 5 nights, sailing in Feb 2022. This will hold me over until my Mardi Gras cruise in Oct 2022. It was too good to pass up, $200 OBC, free drinks while playing in the casino. Total ended up being $427.00 for my BFF and myself, and with the 200 OBC it's like paying $227.00 for a 5 night cruise. Now, if they will just let us sail again!!! Praying they are back by Feb, 2022😁

(I picture myself standing on the upper deck facing the fresh salty ocean air breeze with waves sound around me and... a wet rag blocking my breath and faceless non-communicating people around me, some closely observing others to complain instead of wild nature in the ocean).  And all that for thousands of dollars.  I really, really cannot comprehend how anyone might actually (truly) enjoy this kind of cruise.

And that's why i rescheduled our cruise on the Mardi Gras for late 2022, praying that by then mask will be a thing of the past. Time will tell.

If Carnival sticks to its initial decision to allow anyone to board regardless of vax status, I'm in no hurry to cruise them again.  I don't need to be with unvaxxed people.  If Carnival wants to abide by the CDC's guideline of 95% pax vaxxed, as well as 98% of crew, then I'm fine and will make my final payment using old gift cards..

I've sailed Carnival over 40 times, so if I cancel my November sailing with them, it isn't a big deal for me.  I'll just go on Celebrity (hopefully) in December for way less $$$ due to a casino offer - mid ship, mid deck Balcony, total fare $198 for 2 + taxes + port charges.

I feel the same way, I would rather they stick with the 95% and 98% crew and guest vaccinated.

So, the Mister and I would gladly jump on this ship...if we were sure she was going.

is it 50/50? 75/25? What do y’all think?

I personally would not count on it,  there's a lot to be worked out still, but I am hopeful for a return to cruising by the fourth quarter. But never say never, it's a wait and see for us all right now.

I'm thinking the cruise lines will cancel all existing sailings (in waves) and put out limited ships, therefore they can charge higher prices, they can decide to not allow kids, and require vaccination on these "new sailings." Plus there will be an increase in guests stuck with FCC with only high priced cruises to use them on. That's how it has worked in every market that has or soon will resume cruising. I don't think they will get clearance and just sail the cruises as scheduled.

I don't believe they are going to cancel ALL EXISTING sailings, that would be a nightmare for Carnival, they will continue as they have with cancellations until cruising is up to par. Some folks have cruises booked for 2022, why would they make folks even more uneasy by cancelling those. Just my opinion though.😊

  8. First time I have felt a little positive about cruising actually returning, I have no problem with requiring 95% of passengers being vaccinated, that is a good thing in my book. I just want to see the ships sailing again and me being on the Mardi Gras next year, or a quick girls trip before then😁

There are dozens of reasons OTHER than active COVID that could cause a ship to be red, up to and including embarkation of new staff. Spreading assumed, misinformation and paranoia will not get us back to cruising any sooner, if not delay it further.

    Exactly!!!

I just couldn't stand not having a cruise booked any longer. Even though it's 410 days out - the longest I've ever waited for any cruise - I needed something to look forward to. Got an extended balcony midship, deck 14. Looking forward to exploring this beautiful new ship. It will be the first vacation with just my hubby and I, since the kiddo somehow grew up and became a college graduate when I wasn't looking.

Good choice, I also decided to roll my Mardi Gras cruise over to 2022, late 2022.😀
