We mostly do TAs cruise and will add a cruise before if it is a good price Between 2013 -16 we always waited until after final payment date to book On our last couple of cruise our TA had group that Always include” price was about the same as Celebrity cruise only price , but I think those days are gone

Why book a future cruise Here an example on HAL , a TA leaving Rome at $2300 CAD for including taxes and fee on Nov 26 2023 The same cruise in 2024 is $4400 CAD , Hotels and airfare may eat up some of the savings But I think I will be doing this next year , since we not that picky about our location of the cabin

The biggest difference I saw and read about having a butler is if you were locked in covid prison if you didn’t have a butler you were lucky to get any service at all 2 hour wait for anything was the norm with cold terrible food or you would phone room service and tell you to call back later they too busy If you had butler, he still bought you very thing , Service was like night and day

That is silly to go this time of the year 🤣 Travel May , early June , late September, October and November, cruises longer than 7 days , very few kids 😁

There is a machine for that , or they can buy them washed and peeled already 😁

You can order bake potatoe, I think even sweet potato

In a balcony , Princess and Hal appear to have about same price as Celebrity With the cruises I have checked But they have some more interesting cruises

A little late to the party , on Monday is when the shitty hit the fan about Equinox was changing location we losing $800 in OBC Celebrity has a new Prez coming from RCL so Celebrity is heading down the flusher 💩 Celebrity is now RCL lite , just missing slides and rock walls 😁 But don’t feel it just you, passengers on Apex, Summit, and Constellation are getting screwed by the New Prez also

We had basic on the Reflection April TA in 2023 , the download speed was about 1 gbps and upload speed was about 1/2 gbps , during the crossing All the ships now have the new service Starlink, it was fine , as long you’re not in a hurry one , two pictures to send of low quality pictures will send quickly My wife could even download a short knitting video 😁 Here a screenshot of a Speedtest in the middle of the Atlantic

Don’t feel to bad , your cruise isn’t the only one get screwed around Equinox moves to the Caribbean, Summit and Constellation also gets screw around We we’re not offered anything on the Equinox just $200 per cabin and lost $900 OBC we had n the cruise It is Celebrity ships and they can do what they want with them Luckly we had no airfare booked or put anytime in planning We will look else where as Celebrity really doesn’t have any interesting cruises

The OVs in the bow of the ship have interconnecting doors , it not was noise 95% of time . And no more noises than a cabin without it Here are some of the cabins with doors between cabins

As long as the wc are clean , flush and have to , I really don’t care about the size 🤣 We had a hotel room in Copenhagen last year and every cruise ship I have been has been larger and talk about a same wc 😱

One thing that is good about have data as you travel, you can get notifications that your cc has been used Also if you get separated from your partner it will be easier to find each other if you both have data

Try not to compare Celebrity to other cruises you have done 😁 As somethings will be better and something will be different , and somethings will 😱

You write you never been on any form of social media but you are on this forum ?🤔 With FB we have able to stay in contact with people we have meet on cruises and think of as close friends , without social media this would be impossible Roaming in port is a great tool, makes it so much easier to find yarn shops in ports 🤣 I wouldn’t extra for Wi-Fi on the ship, but sometime with group rates having Always included, it was the same cost of cruise only fare

Even pre covid Australia cellphone rates were way cheaper than Canada

We get screwed over in Canada by the big 3 their reasoning Canada is huge with small population, if that was the case why is Australia so cheap
