Our upcoming June cruise on the Gem right now is up $270 pp from what we are paying and we are booked in our favorite room on the ship. :eek:

We were on the Breakaway early December and had a great time. In fact going back in 11 months :)

The "two for one"martini special at happy hour at the Star Bar has been pre-empted by the LGBT meeting at the Star Bar. So much for inclusion by the ncl home office. Is this a reflection of the staff in miami? Personally, I could care less if those of that persuasion took advantage of the martini special but the ncl decision to exclude "straights" makes me wonder if they really want my business.

 

Not sure why you are saying one causes the other.

We've had both rooms on the Jewel and tho the balcony is a bit bigger in 10666 we prefer 10664 so we only have others on one side. The size difference of the balcony is very small. You can't go wrong with either room.

When we cruise every night is cocktail night :)

Does sound like Cagneys annex would be where he referencing to place Moderno. Some of our cruises this has been the suite breakfast and lunch venue but not all. Turning Blue Lagoon and current Moderno into O'Sheehans would seem to make sense at least on the Jewel class ships. One side for food service, one side for the bar 1/2 with seating on the rail for watching atrium events.

 

 

Longboards was always dead on the Sky and it just didn't have the same vibe. I think on the Sky it would be an easy switch over.

 

We sailed one spring during the NBA playoffs and Longboards was hopping every single night. Its our favorite bar so far on any NCL ship.

We've been super lucky and had Slam on both our Epic cruises and our only Breakaway cruise. We would totally be disappointed if Fat Cats had no live house band at all playing like we've had in the past.

Above poster is correct, H20 is for over 18 and open to all who are.

As for the batting cage, Dec. 2012 they set it up on the basketball court on port days. It was kinda disappointing as it took the kid a long time to find your strike zone and the bats were tiny. I know I dented the bat a few times and rung my hands real bad on one hit. It was however no charge (included) so I wasn't about to complain.

In case NCL is reading the only reason I will not book X is because of their smoking policy. ;) 42 NCL cruises and counting not someone you want to lose. :cool:

Agree with the others, if its just red meat your friend doesn't eat there are plenty of options for him/ her.

We have friends on this cruise and were watching the NY harborcam. Was def scheduled for 4:00 pm leave but def left late.

If I had my mind set on traditional dining I would just book a line with traditional dining. Not really sure of the issue here.

Fire and Ice got off Tues. Dec 3rd in Port Canaveral. They didn't say when or if they were returning. Slam got on Dec.1st.
