Thank you, this is very helpful (as is your reservation guide.)    It seems NCL makes this more complicated than it has to be.   I am left with 2 additional questions.

    1) we are booked in a club suite, it says you can make reservations 125 days out.   However, when I log into MyNCL - and I select our Sept 13 Joy cruise, and go to make a reservation, it says check back on May 16 (which is 120 days out).   It is as if the system does not recognize the 125 day window for club suites.   I guess I will call on May 11.

    2) I am still confused if Ocean Blue is included in SDP.  The SDP FAQ lists all restaurants that honor SDP.  It lists all except Ocean Blue, which isn't mentioned at all.    Some CC posts discuss a $10 or $15 upcharge.   However, when I open the Ocean Blue menu it lists 2 items that have a $25 upcharge on top of SDP.    I am assuming there is no upcharge in addition to SDP to dine there as long as you don't order those two items.....

I worried about the same thing with the date being at 120 days rather than 125 (I am sapphire) but magically on day 125 I was able to book. it all popped up.

ocean blue is included in dinning package . I know for fact because we are booked for our March 3. 2024 cruise

lplenty to pick from without items with up charge .

I just find it easier, because the device is pretty much in my hands at all times. I've definitely checked in on a PC before, but the last couple times it was my phone. The phone is slightly easier as I don't have to go turn on the PC and sit at the desk or grab a laptop from it's dusty corner storage area.

It has been FOREVER ago since I used my laptop. It is a pain! I use iPhone or iPad for check in. Only problem I ever had was trying to submit photo with glasses on. Once I bothered to read directions it was easy.

iMessages works without the texting plan offered by NCL, per all sorts of reports on Cruise Critic. I suppose this may stop working at some point, but currently it's reported that it does. @UKstages, thanks for confirming the name.

You never know what will and want work.  I was able to use the app to text home when signed into ships wifi . That is not the normal.

Using the NCL app is free. You connect to the WiFi network on your phone, but don't login to your account to use the minutes. Once connected, open the NCL app and it'll work.

Well sorta free… it is 9.95 each phone

they give you your own phone number.

How do you do that? I am the primary person and I how do I get the 300 minutes all on my phone? My adult son will be with me, but we are only using my phone and he does not have an NCL account like I do, but he is on my reservation.

The person at the internet desk an do it for you.  H is located usually by the Starbucks and information counter

Remember that Oasis of the Seas took seas over the bow that damaged the first lifeboats on each side.

OMG how high were the seas. My instinct cruise was on carnival celebration with 15 foot seas. All i remember is tons of glass crashing everywhere and nobody could stand up. The seas nearly beat that little tuna can to pieces.

porter will be in the baggage claim area, they will help move your bags towards the front of the terminal that has the elevator to the parking area

But the OP is doing self debark.
last cruise we had no customs lines. It was facial recognition and you just flew by the camera.

Thank you all so much. I was feeling pressured and I just found the pricing this morning. I will check back tomorrow.

I book most of our cruises WAY ahead of time. Then i follow the price every single day. Our march 2024 cruise would go down once a month and stay that price for the month. A few months ago it went way up and stayed that way then went back down.  I will say most of our cruises has not always followed this pattern. Crap shoot!

I went into the app and can't see the ability to make MDR reservations even though I am within 120 days.  When do the reservations for MDR open?

You should be able to click on the restaurant you want and the deal comes up to book. I just went to my NCL app and it is there. I booked all my reservations at one time. 2 dining package, 2 latitudes, 3 dining room.

  10. You make your reservation for dining room just like you did the other reservation. Go to the restaurant you want and pick your time.
we will be on breakaway in march 2024 also and I WAS able to make reservation in

    Taste restaurant .

may not be necessary but last cruise I saw them shut down the line within 15-20 mi a of opening so…. I would assume that reservation would mean something.
